Even when the Raptors were clicking, the Bulls are just a terrible matchup for the Raptors.

Also I can't seem to find a video of this game: November 6 2013 vs the Bobcats - 26 seconds left

Toronto didn’t foul the Bobcats on their final possession, and when Henderson’s long 3-pointer hit off the rim there wasn’t enough time for Toronto to corral the loose ball and call timeout.

"Yeah, I was surprised" they didn’t call timeout, Henderson said.

“We felt like we had 5 seconds and as soon as we got the rebound, we was going to call time out,” Casey explained post game.

I agree, but lets say hypothetically we lose the next 5 straight, brutal losses. What then>?

Is there not a point where it might be beneficial to give a new coach a try, usually new coaches bring some energy back right away for a short period - could help for playoffs if were seriously free-falling.

I dont even wanna watch this game knowing Trashquez gonna get over 35 min and gets assigned to guard Jimmy butler.

Im hoping Brooks annihilates and embarrasses trashquez so casey can cry in the corner.

Casey was asked after the pelicans game about why putting vasquez on evans and not JJ.

He said he def considered putting JJ on him but still went with Vasquez instead!!!! LMAOOOOOOOO

There is probably a 99% chance that Casey doesn't get fired before the playoffs.....in that 1% chance, the Raptors would not only have to get blown out in the next 5-7 games, but Casey would have to lose the entire locker room, get called out by a player in the media, and the stars, sun and moon aligning for any termination. It's not going to happen.

With that said, every brutal loss gets Casey closer to "maybe" land.

The games are a lot easier to watch if you already know the loss is coming. You can just relax and laugh at all the stupid mistakes.

There's no way Casey is getting fired at this point of the season and I don't think he should be either. He's not a championship caliber coach, but he is the coach that can achieve the organization's goal for this year - which is advance to the second round. If they fail at that, I think he will be gone. If they advance, I think he'll be given another chance with better players on the team next year.

Masai is a results oriented guy - either you provide results or step aside for the next guy.

Casey's job is safe till the off season. I don't think any coach gets fired just before the playoffs unless it's some kind of turmoil with management. And Masai has shown so far, he's not one to think outside of the box too much or rock the boat. He's brought in his own bench players, that's it. So, don't expect anything crazy like a coach firing.

This will likely be a blow-out unless an x-factor like James Johnson comes to play. I feel that his benching yesterday was likely because he was more needed to guard a bigger wing like Butler and Snell. Still Derozan played 42 mins and Lou gave everything last night, so we will have to look deep to find some scoring.

The biggest takeaway from the recent games is how easily we get wiped out on screens. Our success last year was because we fought to contest every shot, and we played much more physical fouling teams. We need to beat up Chicago this time. We cannot be the ones getting back-doored, or double-screened.

This team is hard to watch without Lowry and most of our trouble starts with his health. I don't put much stock into this one, but if we do manage to win on a back-to-back against a rested and healthy Chicago team (minus Rose), then it will be some sort of miracle.
