Now that he is showing that he can be an allstar, is it a sure thing? I can see something along the lines of this.
Nikola is laying in bed with a cough, wishing he could play basketball. Then he hear the "Ricolaaa" call, takes one, and is better. Next clip he drains a three and you hear Stacy King yelling "Nikolaaa".
The fit is too perfect. If he becomes an allstar, Ricola will have to get him in an ad.
