No thanx to love. I mean if he came I would support him like I do all Lakers but I'm not rooting for him to come. He seems content in Cleveland.

I think he would be a great addition, but his pissy attitude and defense (or lack there of) is definitely of concern. According to multiple sources via ESPN, LeBron isn't too thrilled with Love's "unwillingness" to adapt and buy into the teams culture.

To be fair to Love... There is no team culture in Cleveland... There's LeBron, and the rest. LeBron needs to finally step up and start leading a damned team. Meaning, he needs to stop blaming others for his teams' failings and start accepting that the team is his and he is ultimately responsible for it's success or failure. It's the Cleveland LeBrons... Which is what he wanted, now he needs to shut up and finally make a "LeBron team" successful. Take it on his shoulders and make them win. And carry the weight of the bad games too. He's great at marketing the hell out of his individual successes to the total detriment of everyone around him. He's not so good at taking responsibility for the team failings.

That said, Love accepted the role of a 3rd wheel, and is playing like it. He's Bosh-lite at this point and showing no fire to get better. It really doesn't speak well of him. I was excited about getting him, but now that, and his negative comments about the Lakers make me want to steer far clear of him. He seems like a low-pressure, big numbers guy to me... Not a guy that rises to challenges and wills victories.

We don't know whether these rumors are true, but assuming they are, you raise several valid points Killroy. In addition to playing with an injury, from the few games I have watched, K Love has also been relegated to spot-up status ala Chris Bosh via the Heatles. LeBron yapping about it doesn't do anybody good as the adjustment process itself takes a huge toll.

I totally forgot about Love's comments regarding the Lakers; tough sell indeed.

Not as max money whatever that would be. He's a very good player. Certainly an All Star caliber, but I'm of the mindset that only true superstars should get max contracts. Love is not.

Well the Westbrook love reports are interesting.... and even if we get him at the max this season that's not anywhere near the max for the future after the cap raise

I would rather wait for Westbrook in free agency because we need to have a team together first.

Its startin to come out now, that he can be a piece of the puzzle. But NOT the main piece. His value as once believed by maney, as a STAR in this league, has dropped. But that doesn't mean he is a terrible player. It means that he is NOT one of the elites as perceived by many.
