As bad as the team looked for stretches of that game and as messed up as that final play, sad truth is we would have won that game if we hadn't run into the buzzsaw that is Brook Lopez in current form. Have you seen what he's done the last 4 games? 34, 31, 26, 32. Sound like the measurements to my favorite model. JK. We actually held him to his lowest shooting % in that stretch (.615). I don't really get how his shot goes in, all those PNRs it looks like he shot puts the damn thing downward and it goes in every time, freaking unbelievable. (btw before you say we don't have enough size to guard him: he scored 26 vs Hibbert on .786% shooting). Chalk bad timing up as one of this year's team's unlucky trademarks.

It's a sad spectacle to watch this team these days. I watched the entire game almost in sorrow. I had some brief excitement in the 2nd quarter when Biyombo came onto the floor, but then it fizzled out. At least now I know I'm not crazy or unnecessarily pessimistic for being indifferent to disillusioned about the offseason moves that had others optimistic on the team's potential progress from one season to the next

It was annoying to watch that terrible shot by Kemba that he argued about with 20 seconds left, but apparently the league has officially ruled that it was a foul and not calling it was incorrect.

Link

Not that it matters all that much, but slight vindication there for Kemba.

It was a obvious foul, but the vindication doesn't detract the matter of the fact for us Hornets' fans that Kemba need to stop complaining to the referees so much, and not only that, but he need to start finishing plays through contract instead of head jerking & screaming
