In the East its obviously a much much easier path, teams like the Raptors and Wizards who people thought were on the rise, havent taken it to that next level and may have plateaued. Same goes for the Bulls with Rose injury problems.
We obviously have a crap team, as of now there is no doubt about that. But we can make that instant turnaround if LaMarcus or Gasol decide to sign with us. Its a definite long shot, but I feel both of them need to factor that into their situation.
If Blazers/Grizz get eliminated in the 1st round, I feel it'll increase our chance, even if it raises it from 1% to 2%

I never said they needed to use the TPE. The trade would save them like what $5 mil? $6 mil? That's just next season (not counting moving away from the luxury tax).
