Between 3 and 4. Seems stacked because we have so many damn holes to fill.

Okafor's game reminds me of a hybrid between Demarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis.
More of a Demarcus on terms of body type.

Towns reminds me of an Al Horford, Andre Drummond type game.

Stanley Johnson - Young Lebron

So you think he's a surefire top 5?

Where do you guys think the biggest gulf in this draft is?

Between 2 and 3?

4 and 5?

I keep wondering do we just know more about this draft class? Or does it seem pretty stacked at the top 5?

Right now I can see a few tiers forming.

Tier 1: (Superstar potential)

Okafor
Towns

Tier 2: (high reward, gamble, decent bust potential)

Mudiay
Hezonja
Russell (The more I see and hear from him, the more I want to drop him down a tier.)
Turner
Looney

Tier 3: (Low risk low reward)

Cauley Stein
Stanley Johnson
Winslow
Jerian Grant
Frank Kaminsky

I'm the exact opposite on Russell. He's the type of guard that makes building the rest of your team around easy. His main strength is his ability to ignite an offense with his high IQ/passing abilities. The rest of his offensive game is such a great compliment to that. I'd probably take him over Mudiay if I had to make that decision. Russell was the focal point of every defense he faced this season and each game he had his way if not all, but at least most of the game.

Basically.. I envision a Russell/Randle pick and roll for the next ten years and I drool.

Here's who I want the team to pick:
1: Okafor, Towns, Russell. They'll probably be gone though.
2: Hezonja. I'm basing this off some youtube clips and random message boards
3: Johnson: He sounds like Artest, and this team could definitely use some Artest.
4: Mudiay: I know nothing about him, so this ranking may change.

Aside from hezonja, I think I'm also firmly in the Winslow over Stanley bandwagon of theyre is one.

That's the biggest mismatch this game for AZ. Xavier doesn't have someone that can guard him like OSU. I'd be much happier with picking Johnson if he didn't settle for jumpers so much and used his body to get to the foul line.

He has a lovely shooting stroke and all the athleticism and skill to put the ball on the floor but so did Wes Johnson and I cannot seem to shake off that comparison until he shows a shred of aggressiveness.

This Steinbrook guy is so likeable and an awesome story of giving up his scholarship to his brother too.

Looks like my Top 6 isn't changing for April 1 rankings. Some change after that though.

Oh and I would not mind Sam Dekker with the Houston pick, he and RHJ are my two top targets there.

Kevon Looney's number 19 on DX....

We're one clever agent away from drafting him with that Houston pick.

Ty's got you all Kevon Looney crazy. He looks like a good player and all, he's not what this team needs at all.

Lakers need a big man with the high pick (if they keep it) and a PG with the low pick.

Drafted Looney with the Houston pick would mean passing on a handful of PGs who are much better prospects than Clarkson as lead guards: Wright, Grant, Dunn, Tyus Jones, Payne, and others

I know Ty loves him, but, really, he's not a good fit here. Even if could play SF, Lakers need a SF who can do things he won't be able to do for many, many years, if they're lucky.

Y'all know I draft for need: (big man) Towns, (PG) Dunn, a shooting SG who can guard PGs and SGs (Rashad Vaughn or Michael Frazier), and a 3 and D SF who can also rebound and guard SGs (Taurean Prince).

They come away with a haul like that, and the future, at every position, is set in my eyes.

Looney's a PF who might be able play some SF. We have more dire needs than to stockpile guys who can't get meaningful minutes together (reference David Kahn).

Jerian Grant is gone in the lottery, no way he's available at the Houston pick.
