This is the beginning of a 4 game in 5 day stretch for us. Teague also rolled his ankle and had some swelling in the last game.

I wonder if we rest a player or two.

Another chance for Schroder to prove his worth as a starting caliber PG in this offense!!!

Pero Antic may not play due to a stiff neck but no decision has been made on his status.

Another chance for Muscala to prove his worth as a backup caliber big on this roster!!!

Good to see that Muscala has been working on that hook shot.

Nice game, the Hawks were in cruse control throughout the whole game.

The headlines say that the Hawks have officially clinched #1 in the east

The Hawks should rest everybody really, starters and a couple of bench players for the rest of the season, but it would be nice if the Hawks got 60 wins. They only need 5 more win and they have 10 games to do it. I don't think if anybody should go over 30mpg in the last 10 games. and if i was coach, i would actually shut Horford down for the rest of the season, because we all know our history. if i was coach, i think i would start and give 30mpg to Muscala, Brand, Daye, Jenkins, Mack.

I wouldn't min seeing us rest some guys over this 4 game in 5 night stretch that we are in the midst of. Otherwise, I think it would be better for our guys to play and regain that form from earlier in the season. It looks like the defense is getting back up to speed. I'm ready to have Scott back and to get this thing rolling again. I don't see any one in the East competing with a healthy Hawks in a 7 game series.

I really don't see it like that. I think it would be better to use the time to get Muscala, Daye, and Jenkins reps in the system, so that all twelve guys knows the correct reads to make on defense and offense in Budz's system. In playoff basketball when fouls are important and teams need to make alot of subsitution, guys like Muscala, Daye, and Jenkins might have to go in the 4th for one or two plays in critical situations.

Playing without fouling is what we do. The Hawks are 1st in the league in opponents FTs per game. As long as we are healthy, I don't see a time where Daye or Jenkins will ever see the court unless the game is wrapped up early.

I don't see Bud relying on Daye or Jenkins in a critical 4th quarter playoff situation when he won't rely on them in the 1st quarter of regular season games.

I'm fine with us resting guys from here on out but I would prefer that we have all five starters out there when we face brooklyn :D

What you are saying absolutely doesn't make any sense. You don't really know playoff basketball

... and i'm pretty sure Coach Budz would agree with me about sitting out the starters and playing the bench guys like Muscala, Daye, and Jenkins

Is that right?

Lets see how many 4th qtr minutes Jenkins and daye play throughout the playoffs. That will tell us who knows what here.

Agree with ATLHawksfan21. Like great Pat Riley said:
"You rotate eight players," said Riley about how teams go to their top players in the playoffs.

But there was more.

"You play seven, you use six and you trust five," Riley added with a smile.
