Best seats for a playoff game?

Post#1 » by khufure » Fri Mar 27, 2015 6:24 pm

Thinking of flying back for a week during the playoff run. What advise do you guys have for seating?

My work is pretty flexible, can do it from anywhere with decent internet (4G via phone). Any hotel advise?

What's the best steak & pizza in town these days?

Thanks!

this should be a requirement when sitting in those seats.
Okay Brand, Michael Jackson didn't come over to my house to use the bathroom. But his sister did.

200 level is nice, but if you can get center court anywhere its a good seat imo. I like the 200 and 100 sections more not just due to their proximity to the court but shorter lines. The 300 sections houses a ton of seats and the walkways are always packed.

If you can't be in the first say 5 rows, I too really like the 200 level if you can swing it. But there's really not a bad sight line at the UC (with the slight exception behind the baskets because they still after 20 years haven't learned to slope those seats better). Some of the best times I've had there for the Bulls or Hawks are in the 300 level. Better fans for the most part and not just the people there to be seen. They're actually fun and some are quite knowledgeable.

Can't help with hotels as I've never used one being so close, but best pizza depends on what you like. Deep Dish you have to go Lou Malnati's or Geno's East. If you're more into not your "norm" pizza, I still love Piece Pizza & Brewing. But it's hard to find bad pizza here (unless you do Papa John's, Pizza Hut, etc.). As for steaks Chicago Cut rules as does Smith And Wollensky. Both are pricey though. Gibson's is always great. I just hate venturing to the Viagra Triangle.

Club Level - 200 are my favorite seats in the place. Every Bulls game at the UC I've been to has been in 200 section with the exception of one game where I sat mid court 100 level. I can honestly say I preferred 200 level over the 100 level. Sit 300 level for Blackhawks games, and would say you're probably fine unless you get something behind the basket.

200 level wins for convenience. In seat service is nice, although sometimes can be slow. Bathroom lines are short to no line at all. Concession and bar lines are also short to no wait at all.

Gibsons should be the best for steak. Heard many bulls players even go there. I liked Fogo de Chao but that's for a poor guy like me occasionally craving unlimited steak. Or, maybe, how about heading to MJ's steak house? Only heard about it but people seem to like it.

The other day, Jameis Winston was spotted eating pizza at Giordano's. He seems like a guy who knows the right way around a fork
