This is true a lot of the time, but not so in the last two possessions that we saw. JV just failed to box out Black. Got benched for it too.

No. Only 1 possession is true, where JV allowed Black to tap the ball out because he didn't put a body on him. The other time, he had to contest a shot inside from a penetrating guard, which he forced a miss, then Black got the offensive rebound...............that is not on JV.

The sequence before he got subbed out, the first board was on his head but he was pressuring the shooter on the second. Got no problems with the hook but Amir has been no better.

Yeah true the second one he was contesting a floater or something. Seems like the entire team's rebounding intensity isn't there tonight.
