A big problem with hedging aggressively is that the rolling big will be open, and if a wing/guard sinks to cover the roll then their man is available for a pass and then attack of the ensuing closeout. Thus rotations/closeouts have to be perfect timing and positioning wise, or else the defense will break down.

Difficult to sustain.
