hopefully they do us that favor, since were already gifting them a mid-round pick

There is ZERO chance they rest against us. them beating us could be the difference between them getting the 15th pick and the #1 pick.
they will come out guns blazing

I had thought boston was a good bet to win 38 games. but looking at their schedule remaining it is actually kind of brutal, i thought it was easier.
7-4 the rest of the way probably gets it done. (38-44)
6-5 might as well looking at it (37-44) although that really depends on tie breaker. we get a better picture after the indy/boston/pacers games against themselves coming up.
i think 38 is the number we need to hit. probably wont need 39.
that said, 38 is alot of work to get to still.
7 more wins needed. even if you chalk up NY, Orl, LA(which i think would be insane to do since all can easily beat us and the knicks and orlando have played us tough) we still need to go 4-4 against:
Atlanta
Atlanta
Pacers
Toronto
Portland
Washington
Milwaukee
Chicago'
hopefully charlotte loses tonight. making this a 3 horse race instead of a 4 horse one would help

Good point. Teague has been out so maybe he still sits when we play them, I dont think their bench is as good as ours which is where we need to take advantage, our bench is probably our biggest advantage. We need to try our best to atleast take 1 game and play as hard as we played the cavs and warriors. Hopefully thad is healthy and can keep up with millsap in those games

Brooklyn is 14-14 when Bogdanovic scores 10 points or more. Just being .500 doesn't sound like much, but when you take into account the fact that the Nets are 16-26 when he doesn't, you begin to see the value he has.
With the playoff chase in full bloom, Bogdanovic has been at his best. Maybe it was having the game played at his home court, but since the All-Star break, Bogdanovic has averaged 10.8 points on 50.4 percent shooting from the field and 39.2 percent from behind the arc. His 59.2 true shooting percentage is the highest among all rookies on this list since the All-Star break.

IDK I don't completely disagree but they're probably more worried about the playoffs and being 100% healthy. Not our ridiculous pick swap. Smart teams think long term. Long term means the difference between 10 and 15 isn't huge.

That makes sense. 9-3 just seemed excessive with how awful and inconsistent the bottom of the east has been.
The "good' thing is that we still control our own destiny. It's not like we need the other teams to collapse. If we can't go 6-5 - regardless of schedule - we don't deserve the playoffs. ATL is resting guys, Indiana/Toronto/Wash/Mil are declining.
You're right though. Chalking up ANY games as Ws is insane at this point. We got blown out vs. Charlotte and Boston at home. Crucial games too. This team can't be trusted for anything. Our best bet is that we hit a 'stride', ATL + some of the other playoff teams start resting their guys, and we do what we're supposed to do. Can't hope that Boston or any other team is gonna start losing. As bad as the other teams in the race are, they bring it every night. We're not going to walk into the playoffs by hitting .500 during this stretch.

their starts are alot better. like we arent even near the same class as them. and there bench isnt too far off. they have some good players there too.
i cant see either atlanta game not being a blowout loss

To be honest I don't really know whether Bud will rest our starters against the two games we play against yall or not. Personally I think the only games we should play our starters from here on out is our two remaining games against you. If we rest the whole starting 5 against yall then you guys will definitely win.

Well the hornets just blew the hawks out so u still dont think we could steal a game? It would be smart for the hawks coach to start resting players since they already locked up the 1 seed and he shouldnt want to take any risk with late season injuries
