Gortat so wants to throw Wittman under the bus.
Wasn't John referring to Gortat, who didn't know the play, when he passed the ball to him? Talk about throwing stones.
I have no idea. I missed that play.
Was it Gortat ? If so, then that is very interesting.
Gortat throwing stones a Randy. Wall throwing stones at Gortat. PP and Gortat had an exchange not long ago. Randy throwing everyone under the bus.
Yikes.

If he was on a proper team like the Mavs or Spurs he'd definitely look like a player
Fixed...
Lol true

Wall is not going to bash Porter though so I kind of take his comment with a grain of salt.

Everytime I read a J.Michael article, I read it in Ernie Grunfeld's voice.

Porter continues to prove his worth, yet Wittman continues to go to Webster for long stretches as PP and Beal's backup. GET RID OF THIS WOMBAT OF A COACH. Absolute kookaburra just having a laugh trying to coach this team.
That 3rd quarter would have been even better IF WE COULD GET A DAMN CALL. So many drives to the basket by Wall, even Porter had a couple of attempts that were clearly fouls, no whistle.
Yet you exhale in the vicinity of a Harden drive and he's off to the line.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

I had a great Sunday. Instead of wasting time watching all of the Wizards game I worked out at the gym and I saw the movie "The Gunman". Awesome flick.
About the Wizards: Last season Ariza and Gortat had identical contracts. I posted why I was upset the Wizards rushed to overpay Gortat and subsequently lowballed Ariza. I pointed out that Ariza was good for team chemistry (like a big brother to Beal and Wall), younger than Gortat, and had championship experience.
Instead of having Rasual Butler and Paul Pierce, just having Ariza and Otto Porter would likely have been just as good or better.
The few minutes I saw while at the gym seemed to me the Wizards were playing discouraged. They were a step slow. Spacing was horrible. Body language was bad. Their spirits seem to be broken.
That Harden block on Beal was a symbolic play.
From the box score Wittman didn't give Porter enough minutes.
I have less interest and lowering expectations in this team. It is good to be detached right now.

They were getting calls earlier in the season.
They lost their swagger.

They have not gone to Webster in long stretches.
Otto played all year. Webster played basically the last 4-5 games. He wasn't even available until 12/30
And he only got those 4 back to back games after Otto disappeared and was screwing up. Then Otto returned energized. Well Good. Had he done that to begin with him probably would have never sat.
I have a long list of Randy issues. But lets not start making things up.
Otto is learning and that God he is healthy. Something we didn't experience with Wall and Beal that first 3 years.

Any time Webster is on the court feels like a long stretch, with all the bricked shots and slow footed defense.

The team looked asleep. Always seems to be the issue when we play these weekend matinee games. Too much partying in D.C. Saturday night I guess.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.
