You almost pulled off a super crazy upset though. I had my lowest point total of the season because Lebron was sitting out and most everyone else under performed. I think I was only up by 1 point at the end of the night. They must have adjusted stats afterwards because the margin was different this morning. You had me sweating though. I'm on this crazy winning streak, and then of all the teams to lose to...whew. ;)

It's possible that my win streak may end this week though. Lebron is still out and my best guys don't have very many games. I was hoping Killa Kallie and I would still be undefeated when we match up but I may not make it there.

Lol thought I had that one this week.

seems like LP cut bait with Melo at the exact right time. the trade might go down as a disaster for me.

such an ugly race for the playoffs on my behalf. every other week I barely get out a win in a must-win match-up to keep my hopes alive and the follow it up with a loss that I acknowledge early by seeing that Squirtle, Sachmo or ESAL aren't making any ground on me anyway. and then repeat - another must-win, another acceptable loss.

Squirtle is likely to take the L and drop to 5-6, while me, Sachmo and ESAL could be at 4-7 (if ESAL holds on against Sachmo, I hope he does for my sake), unless I pull one out against Fats. then again on to a must-week against Sachmo next week (even though Squirtle will again face one of the undefeated juggernauts so I might just lose and still be only 1 game back of the playoffs, haha)

so I picked up Hassan Whiteside and want to give him a 2-year long contract.

the thing is that I had planned to waive Taj Gibson in order to make place for Whiteside. yet the **** ESPN webpage wasn't working for me the last hour before the rosters have to be set. I did the "isitdownforme" website thing and everything. Couldn't open it.

I wanted to take Taj out and insert Melo. ****

Seeing as Gibson is set as a starter for the week, I would think that I would have to take a technical loss for this match-up as I would be playing a guy who shouldn't be available for me with Whiteside snatched up in the mean time (and me possibly cheating out other guys to get him)

So, ESAL - I waive Robin Lopez's $2 contract (and take the $1 penalty for him) and Jamal Crawford's $1 contract to make space for Whiteside as I cannot afford any penalties for this week. Likely to lose without Melo in there anyway though.... :x

A **** ****.

Kobe and Brandon Jennings out for the year in successive days. Say what you want but they at least contribute.

This is how it was last year too. I just drafted so horribly last year. Still aiming to make the playoffs though.

biggest night of the season for my team. it's likely that this will decide who makes the playoffs as the second seed in our division. Chris Paul just went off. Hoping that IT and Vucevic respond.

thank god I've managed to patch together a roster that is competitive without Durant and Melo. bad luck though that I had to go in this week without the guy for whom I traded my first rounder and Durant who had to take this exact week off.

it's been a mediocre year and I don't feel like I've really deserved the PO spot either way.

I'm really surprised my team is still in it with all the injuries. Kobe, Howard, and Jennings done; Parsons takes every other game off. Tobias Harris and Fournier alternate being suddenly out when I insert one or the other into the lineup. My team is clearly a East 8th seed team. Haha

yeah, that's what I've been thinking this whole time. a very East-like pathetic playoff chase we've been having.

if I lose this match-up, you might be able to convince me to tank the last week, LP, for a higher draft pick.

my offer - I'll start Jon Leuer if you hide me as an illegal immigrant and let me live in your basement for a year.

Looks like I will end the season on a 7 game winning streak (no doubt coinciding with the return of Westbrook) to finish at 12-7, tied with BizGilwalker for 2nd place in the division (assuming his game vs Killa Kallie stays the same - Biz still has Horford yet to play). League settings state tie-breaker goes to head-to-head record. Best I can tell, I had a 2-1 record vs Biz during the season. WOW. I thought for sure this season was a waste 7 weeks ago.

Meanwhile, I for some reason had forgot that the four best records make it to post-season. I felt certain that I lost out on the opportunity to make it when amcoolio beat me.

It makes me feel a bit better about being 4th in fantasy points, yet having such a **** season. At least I was never close to making it.

I haven't updated my roster in months and I've only lost 3 weeks in the last 14. Pretty sure my last adjustment was taking Kemba out of the lineup once we found out he was having surgery. hmmmmmm

9 game winning streak to end the season. I would like to thank Westbrook, who was voted the MVP of Team White Shadow, for being such a amazing fantasy stud this year.

Also a special thanks to Steph Curry who really should be co-MVP.

Honorable mention to Pau Gasol, Brook Lopez, Gordon Hayward and Zach Randolph.

The most improved award goes to Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, even if he did try to submarine my title game by getting hurt, again.

Dumb trade of the year, trading away Oladipo for Nowitzki, luckily didn't cost me in the end. I'd like to extend an offer to Victor to get a complimentary championship ring. I feel bad that I banished him to such a wretched lottery team.

Comeback player of the year - Co winners Kenneth Faried and Brook Lopez, both looked dead in the water mid-season.

I lost another league by one rebound! MKG and Horford sitting out the same game did me in.
