Till Emmy represents us in the 2015 NBA lottery!
#1 Pick?
Hell yeah!
Emmy Rossum would be awesome. She already volunteered herself saying she would do anything for her Knicks. But I think the league requires that someone with an official function with the team be the representive.
Melo would be the next great choice so when we win the lottery he can declare Okafor as his chosen one. Then when Phil selects Towns as the #1 pick, Melo expresses his public disgust. Next, our media has a field day in writing Melo vs KAT stories. The season then plays out wherein KAT proves himself to be a perfect complement to Melo and ultimately we have our improbable run in the playoffs and win the elusive championship wherein Melo is declared NBA Finals MVP. Melo then makes a heartfelt apology to KAT and we all ride off in the sunset with them towards the Canyon of Heroes.

What official function does Dan Gilbert's little weird son have? And if it's a chaperon deal, send Houston to look after her lol.

COO, as in child of owner, similar to Mallory Edens of the Bucks.

Shved so if we win 1st pick to beat Wolves who are represented by Rubio, Shved smack Rubio's head and say in his face:
"Change your face, be happy, enjoy!"

Rubio will have to do this more if we get the 3rd or 4th pick. Us getting Russell or Mudiay probably means Shved will be out of a job unless we keep him on the bench.

How I wish that the 'territorial pick' concept still exists in some shape or form. This was around until the mid-60's wherein a team can automatically draft a guy if he comes from the local area of a certain team. Towns if I'm not mistaken would have qualified for this since he comes from an area within a 50-mile radius of Madison Square Garden.
One can hope though. Maybe this is what the Cavs and Bulls used to secure Lebron and DRose, respectively. Wonder why OKC did not use this on Blake Griffin though.

We all know it is going to be Dolan since he wants to put his ugly mug in the papers if we win the #1.

Too much of a risk for Dolan if he represents us and we fall to #4.

Any news on this front? Heard that Byron Scott would be representing the Lakers in the draft lottery but he is nervous about falling to the 6th spot and does not want to be blamed for that. Can we just send Emmy Rossum and get this over with?
