it's important to get that 2 seed and face dallas.
SAS might be too far behind Mem to overtake them for the 5th seed.

Houston or Mem in the 2nd round and a home game is NO BIGGIE to me.

Gotta appreciate how Draymond Green continues to take runs at the Clippers/ Blake.

must think we're a threat.

Toronto just beat Houston. Memphis is about to beat Sacramento. They'll flip flop. We're 1 back of Houston and 1.5 back of Memphis.

That just makes things all the more interesting. The home and home games between the Spurs and Rockets next week may make or break someone's postseason chances.

Not gonna lie.

I want that 2 seed….and it looks like in order to get it, we're gonna have to beat GSW tomorrow night and Portland in Portland the night after.

Tall task.
Would probably be our greatest accomplishment of the season.
But it needs to get done.

Just wanted to post about my guy Tim Frazier. He was named D-League Performer of the Week and then gets signed by the Trail Blazers for the rest of the season. I would have loved for us to sign him as a 3rd PG but we probably need scoring off the bench.

If we happen to play the Blazers in the playoffs and Frazier is happens to be in it will be hard for me to root against him. (He'll probably get time when Portland decides to rest Lilard)

I hope Newbill does get drafted but it's hard to say. Hopefully we see his name on some mock drafts. Great news about Tim, glad the Blazers want a longer look at him.

Dallas couldn't hold onto their lead and fall 108-101 to the Rockets. Rockets are now 52-24 with 6 remaining.

Very disappointed in Dallas and now, I leave it up to SAS to win BOTH games against Houston to help us out.

the GSW loss really hurt.
and then @Brooklyn and Portland at home come to mind as well.

I expected the GS loss, so my eyes were always set on the 56 win mark.

Houston needed at least 3 losses, Dallas messed it up. Houston just needs to go 4-2, so even if they lose both to SA, they need to lose one more of:
@OKC, New Orleans, @Charlotte, Utah

Houston might be solidifying that 2nd seed. If that's the case, we don't want a tie between SA and Memphis because Memphis will have the tie breaker, and if they both win 55 and the Clippers get 56, Clippers are 3rd and Spurs are 6th. Oh please no.

Yeah I can perfectly see Memphis losing the UTA-GSW-LAC games and us winning out, so it's looking more and more likely we might face San Antonio in the 1st round :-?

This is ESPN BPI's odds on the first round match ups (before yesterday's games), and you can see our most likely opponent are the Spurs (Houston's W yesterday must only have have increased those odds)

Ugh, stupid Memphis.

Just posted it in the General Board, but look at the NetRtg on the SA starting lineup:

They haven't played a ton this season, so we're kind of forgetting, but I'd rather hit that matchup as late as possible. The Green/Leonard combo is not going to be fun for the guards.

Grizzlies handled easily by the Wizards tonight.

looking prime for a 1st round exit.
now give us your playoff spot.

That's one loss for Memphis, lost to the Wizards. If Clippers are going 6-0, they will beat Memphis on the way. Two more losses would allow a 6-0 Clippers to eclipse them and Memphis plays @LAC and @GS.

Now Houston has to figure out how to lose 3 games themselves. Losing to OKC tomorrow would give some hope, but two more losses would need SA to sweep them and mean 3 losses in a row. Either that or New Orleans, Charlotte or Utah to beat them

2nd is great. 5 is cool. 6 if Memphis remains in 3rd is not the end of the world. 3rd is cool if Memphis totally implodes and drops to 6th.

Looks like we will be stuck in the third slot. Don't see the Rockets losing 3 and I fully see us making up the game and surpass Memphis.

Rather get 5th, HCA vs Portland than GSW, as opposed to get up to 3rd and host SAS/Mem

Portland is going to take out the Pelicans tonight, so we only have a 1/2 game advantage for the time being.
