I got a feeling the young ones who are interested in endorsements, lifestyle, or for that matter anything else would vote for the former. I know I would have when I was in my 20s -- actually I did.
Some people don't want to be forced to be thousands of miles away from all of their friends and family
it's the culture shock more than the distance, as some already have to move thousands of miles from their home base
i don't see nba teams in europe any time soon. travel issues, tax issues, culture issues for players...
