Toronto Blue Jays Job Opportunities

Post#1 » by Wally West » Tue Mar 31, 2015 7:14 pm

I was wondering if anyone knew about possible Toronto Blue Jays job opportunities in the summer. Do they hire interns in the summer and in what roles? Really looking for the job on the management side of things whether it be scouting, day to day operations etc.
Want: Trae Young, Michael Porter Jr., DeAndre Ayton, Jaren Jackson Jr, Marvin Bagley III, Mohamad Bamba, Shai Gilgeous- Alexander, Elie Okobo, Jevon Carter

Misleading title. I thought they were hiring.

Good luck in your search though.

pretty sure you obtain such a job through a series of connections within baseball canada or by knowing someone with any semblace of power in the organization, as i've ever seen actual management or scouting postings on the rogers careers websites. i check quite frequently because why wouldn't i want to work for my favourite sports team, even if it was just standard administrative stuff and work my way up?

they'll have job postings for the usual ticket scanner, grounds crew, event security etc. but never anything for the front office. they have posted internship opportunities previously (http://toronto.bluejays.mlb.com/mlb/hel ... p?c_id=tor) but those typically show up in november or december for the ensuing season, as do any other job ops within the organization. then again, they've never posted anything team related (whether it be scouts, equipment manager, clubhouse attendant, anything in the front office) on rogers.com. good luck though.

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

I thought this was just another thread about what battles were left to be won.
