I've never been so pissed off at a sports team other than the 2004 Carolina Panthers than I am at this atrocity of a squad that Charlotte has right now. At least we got a cool logo in the off season. Thats about it.

right wheni think MJ has turned the corner and knows what he's doing, he signs Lance stephenson. (no clue about Hornets actual problems, just making a guess)

Jordan has nothing at all to do with signings and such these days. Its Rich Cho. At the time Stephenson was a fantastic signing for us. Him and MKG defending on the wings was awesome. Too bad Lance spent the off season making stupid rap videos and doing club appearances instead of working on his game. He was a DNP last night coaches decision. Pathetic.

ya defense on the wings does wonders for a team, but so does bricking shots and losing momentum. If i recall correctly, one of the main problems with stephenson is his FG%

Rich Cho is completely in charge of all signings and trades. Hes made some incredible trades, but his off season signings this year were pathetic. Marvin Williams (7 million) Brian Roberts (4 mill) (Lance 9 mill) were pathetic. Lance and Roberts account for 13 million of our pay roll and Lance was a DNP and Roberts played 3 minutes last night.

Cho did turn Maggette into a top 10 pick and got Mo Williams for basically nothing, but his free agent signings were just absolutely pathetic.

Vonleh is too busy looking like a professional body builder while Jason Maxiell gets his minutes. Kid is 19 and if I looked like that when I was 19 I'd just walk around shirtless all day every day.

Has a ton of promise, but who the hell knows. Wish we had that pick this year. Use the 8 and 9 pick to trade up and get a game changer.

Can't believe we beat Atlanta last night. So, can we still make the playoffs? We'd have to almost run the table, including road games against Charlotte, Chicago and Cleveland. Maybe LBJ takes a game off before the playoffs start? Anyway, not likely, but beating Atlanta makes us one step closer. And if we beat Charlotte, I'd say we're #9 in the lottery instead of #8 :-(

I can't see it happening, but what a crazy way to end the season if detroit sneaks into the playoffs.
1st round against Atlanta doesn't look so daunting nowadays.

Hah, I think we might beat Atlanta in a playoff series.. but I don't think we're making the playoffs. Brooklyn is too hot and Miami isn't going to lose nearly all of their games. Plus Boston and Indiana are both 3 games ahead of us.. It's nearly impossible.

Brooklyn has the toughest schedule to finish the year of all the bubble teams. Considering we're hot, it could happen. If we ran the table or came close we'll make the playoffs becuase we play all these teams except Brooklyn ounce, and then they all play each other again multiple times. IF went run the table, we will get in.

If we want to make the playoffs, we 100% can't lose another game.

We'd have to finish 37-45 (currently 29-45) winning our next 8 games to have a chance. Seems almost impossible still.

Brooklyn is 33-40 sittin in 8th right now and would need to finish 4-5 just for us to tie them, but they have the season series vs us so we'd need them to finish 3-6 their final 9 games even if we were to win out.

With just five games and a little over a week left in the season we are still not mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. But our magic number is down to one. One more loss and we are out. One more Boston win and we are out.

If we beat Boston on ESPN on Wednesday night there is still an ever so slight hope for the playoffs as they finish the season against Cleveland Cleveland Toronto and Milwaukee.
