Grizzlies Resigned Koufos

The Grizzlies announced they will resign backup center Kosta Koufos to a three year deal worth 27 million to stay with the Grizzlies for the forseeable future. Both sides agree to the deal on late Tuesday night as both sides hashed out the terms with GM Chris Wallace. for The rest of the news in the link below.

With the new CBA this probably will a good contract. But...could they have received some sign that Marc will not resign and signed Koufos as an insurance?

Decent backup centers are really going for almost 10 million a year.I guess so...

Makes you wonder what the new young crop of centers will get? (gobert, Len, Whiteside)
