Man, Niko...why can't he shoot the long ball? He was consistently strong on that shot today.

Everyone was terrible...Thibs, the players and the refs. Bucks were bad too, except for the offensive boards. They were just not our level of bad.

Haha

Bucks came out with playoff intensity and we came out like we were chillin for the last 3 days. You would like to keep winning games so close to the playoffs though.

Getting the 4 seed is not the most terrible thing in the world, sure cavs get a cake walk to the ecf but we got to worry about us.

Annoying loss, yes, but let's hope Kirk is OK and that Derrick can return soon and get some minutes logged before the playoffs.

That is all that matters.

PS: Hey Niko, let's get that 3-ball dialed in sometime in the next couple of weeks.

K.C. Johnson @KCJHoop · 5m 5 minutes ago

Thibs didn't call timeout when bulls had chance to tie game because he was in back checking if Kirk could get back in the game

Bulls are delusional if they think they are going far in the playoffs.

One of the most terrible officiated games I have ever seen. Both ways. Absolutely awful, this wasn't even really a game of basketball. More like a stop and go game of practice. Either way, that is not why we lost this game. Just made it terrible to watch.

Rebounding
Freethrows
Turnovers

These need to be points of EMPHASIS going into the playoffs. I just hope that this game was one of those games where we just played like crap and weren't feeling it (coming off of 3 days off). I don't think the shooting was the problem, it was the other key fundamentals listed. GG, hopefully Kirk is okay.

Well, the Bucks winning is a good thing. We want them to be the sixth seed.

Unfortunately, us losing is a bad thing. Complete BS Toronto owns the tiebreaker on us when they're 0-4 vs the Bulls. Their schedule is pretty easy the rest of the way. We can probably only afford to lose one more game and feel good about our chances at getting the 3 seed, and one of those games is in Cleveland.

It goes without saying we can't afford any more ****-ups. We've had too many this year. Way, way too many. All of those home losses to bad teams in December/January are coming back to bite us in a big way.

I don't want the 4 seed. At all. Washington will give us absolute hell; Milwaukee will be a push-over.

And to anyone who wants the 4 seed so you can avoid Cleveland in the 2nd round... you're going to have to beat them eventually, whether it's in the ECF or the ECSF. So what does it even matter? Mikwaukee is a far better matchup for us than Washington, for a wide variety of reasons...

Niko in the 4th with the major shrinkage, let's hope it was a one time thing due to the energy and pressure.

Forget Derrick, forget Niko. If Jo doesn't pick it up on the boards we're not going anywhere. Other than that, we're alright. Derrick's coming back, Taj and Jimmy looking good. Pau, Niko and Tony were a little off. #4 seed isn't the worse thing in the world, neither is #3 seed. Hope Kirk's alright, but also hope E'Twaun can get his minutes.

That was just an overall stupid game on our part. Stupid airballs. Stupid-ass missed rebounds. Stupid turnovers. Stupid inability to adjust and kept getting clobbered by the same stupid match ups. And stupid free throw shooting. Those who are supposed to make a three could not. We **** up badly.

It's one game, true true. But that was a potential first round match-up. I can't believe we let ourselves get punked out like that.

Unacceptable. Just plain unacceptable. We have more than enough to steal a win.

Niko will need a real post up game if he doesn't want to get shut down by SGs and SFs.

I'm not too worried. Only concern I have after that game is if Kirk is healthy or not. We're going to be fine either way, but I just don't want to see him have a serious injury to his knee.

Time to get Rose back and find a rhythm as a team. Its going to be a fun few weeks of Bulls basketball!
