I agree with this statement completely but why can't the actual players think this way? I love the Clipps, always will but they havent' won anything at all. They talk as if they're not accountable and neither is Doc and the coaching staff. I was at the first meeting between Golden State this earlier in the season. Yes their were tons of Warriors fans in the building but they were quiet as sh*t cause they lost that game. So why attack the fans after a loss?

But the problem was Curry would have to chase Redick all night long, which would tire the hell out pf him. Kerr trusts Curry to defend CP3, which is no easy task, but it's not as exhausting as guarding someone who just runs around the court.

They used to put Curry on Barnes though and Iguodala was the starter lasts season and would guard Redick

The players blaming the fans after every big-game chokejob is getting really old. Sorry, but this isn't West Bumblecrap, Oklahoma. Nobody's going to cheer loudly for a team that constantly blows leads, fails to show any heart or pride and fails on the big stage in LA.
.....the team didn't lose because they failed to show heart or pride. They lost because the Warriors overall as a team were better. They came out firing with an early lead and there weren't load cheers. The starters actually "won" while they were on the floor, it's the bench that lost the game. Yes, it would be nice to have a larger dedicated fan base presence, but Warrior fans in the area go to Clipper games, Laker fans have nothing to watch these days, and decide to buy tickets to Clipper games because they are actually interesting, and we get this watered down crowd.

True but Blake needs to chill on that sh*t. I'm sick of the fans being a scapegoat. We can't help that thousands of bay area natives live and work in LA and have money to buy numerous tickets in the lower bowl. Yeah Blake showed up but get on his teammates to step it up. Get on Doc for not having a proper bench to give these guys a breather. I'm getting sick of the complaining and crying from this team.

Yea, but they didn't say "why do you think you lost the game", they asked about the atmosphere which is what he was responding to. So we can't interpret it as him saying "we lost because we didn't have enough cheering for us", but yes, he's certainly implying that it would be nice to have a larger Clipper fan presence in a game like that when it comes to the atmosphere.

because none of these guys were here when we were struggling in the sports arena, or feeling betrayed when Elton left. Both DJ and Blake may have been told of our history, but they weren't here to experience it, nor have anyone they know in their whole life who can explain what it was like to be a clipper fan or a clipper, period.

the only one who knows is Matt Barnes, and you don't ever hear him making any statements like that to the media, because he was here when we were nothing, and even himself couldn't wait to get another contract elsewhere back then.
ehhhhh f it.
