GT: Nuggets vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Thu Apr 2, 2015 8:37 pm

When: 8:30 PM ET, April 3, 2015
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

The Nuggets are up next after our two game Florida road trip and if we play like we've been playing lately this should be an easy one.

The key to this one is going to be keeping Faried off the glass on both ends. Last time we played the Nuggets he single handely killed us on the boards which allowed the Nuggets to dictate the pace of the game. We can't let that happen again.

Go Spurs!!

What did we just witness? Kawhi and Bobo are just going nuts. I hope we get this Kawhi every night! Not a bad two way player for a 23 year old.

Well, the second quarter wasn't that exciting, sort of bad. Kawhi didn't score and now Tiago is not coming back with his calf hurting again. That Tiago injury is worrisome...

We got to 50 wins! But we lost Splitter and Patty is still a hot mess...

Baynes might be our unexpected playoff performer off the bench. Back to back career high 18 pt games.

He's also hit his last 29 free throws. Let's keep him in when teams start fouling. (87/100 for the year, damn good for a big)

50 wins!! Kawhi was unstoppable in the first and the bench carried us the rest of the way.

Kawhi's offense is beginning to remind me of Caron Butler. Plays mostly on the midrange area with jab steps. I'd really like to see Kawhi get to the rim more instead of settling for jumpers.
