Milwaukee has made more 3's than Washington, although they did lose Brandon Knight which hurts but I certainly don't think they are any less worse than Washington. Both are in the bottom 5 in 3 pointers attempted. They are both bottom 10 in offense and Top 6 in defense. Their eFG% as a team is pretty identical.

Experience is a good point overall, I agree there. But I don't see Washington having a "lot" of talent. Could be the case for their front court, but they are redundant. All of them are bangers with not much range outside of Humphries and Gooden (who barely plays). Their backcourt is even more brutal after their starters. Rasual Butler and Garrett Temple are backing up Beal. Ramon Sessions and Will Bynum are backing up Wall. Pierce and Beal are the only ones who I can see "going off" from 3 and I'm sure the Raps will be more prepared in a playoff series.

Also, the bench will be the deciding factor. Wizards don't have any potent threats that can go off consistently in a series, where as the Raps have potentially 3 or 4 that could.

They have literally no good 3-point shooters, so this is incredibly unlikely.

you guys are more worried about facing

mcw, bayless, middleton, henson, plumlee, mayo, giannis, ilyasova, dudley

rather than

wall, beal, pierce, nene, gortat, bynum, porter, gooden, hump, sessions

in the PLAYOFFS?

wall will destroy us on the pNr… they actually have legitimate star level talent that the nba propaganda machine will try to push and therefore will get ref bias… as **** as beal has been, he's still a threat from 3… as is pierce… gortat tends to play well against us...

who the hell does milwaukee have that scares you? jason kidd?

Not "worried" about facing anyone.

Not sure why you are listing Bynum, Porter, Gooden, and Sessions... as if they play significant minutes or even make much of an impact ? Have you seen those guys play ? Sessions was a horrible pick up, when he was playing horrible with the Kings. I remember how bad he was in his lone playoff run of his career. He couldn't do anything once the pace slowed down, despite playing with Kobe, Gasol, and Andrew Bynum. They picked up Will Bynum as a 3rd stringer to replace Toure' Murry.

The thing with Wall... he's their major and only consistent offensive force. He could definitely destroy the Raps pick n roll, but they don't run it often in the games they played against Toronto this season. As for "NBA propaganda", Wall isn't going to get more FTA's (if this what your implying) vs DeRozan, Lou, and possibly Lowry as well. All those 3 average more FTA's than Wall (Lowry before he got hurt). DeRozan in his first playoff run got over 11FTA's a game, despite many considering the Nets were favoured by the refs. Gortat had 1 monster game against Toronto... took 3 OT's, I'm sure the Raps bigs can also go off too. Just look what Amir has done in the past to the Wizards.

I actually don't mind whatsoever facing the Bucks at all, but I think your overrating the Wizards and Wall here. Advantages the Bucks have are bench play and better coaching. Middleton can probably do what Beal and better. Inexperience and potent offense is their draw back.

Most people are not looking at the Wizards as an easier opponent, I think most agree that the Bucks are the easier 1st Round Matchup. People have been looking at the whole picture. What could be the easier road? Well Wizards > Hawks does sound easier than Bucks > Cavaliers. I think they just do not want Cleveland in the 2nd Round. Others look at the Wizards and possibility of beating them would have greater glory. I think some are masochists who would rather take the harder road, so that if they triumph, their will be more glory, more confidence, more swag. Also playing the Hawks instead of the Cavaliers in the 2nd Round does sound like a nice touch. The only thing stopping the Raptors from beating the Bucks is if Casey loses his mind again.

Round 2 is why. Raps would face Hawks or the 8th seed as opposed to the Cavs or whoever might beat them.

Seeding 4th would present the most favourable route for the Raps to get to the ECF.

Doesn't seem like the most logical plan. The Raptors have made it to the 2nd round what..once in their history?
Baby steps. Need to focus on the best matchup to make the 2nd.

seriously, people need to stop getting ahead of themselves… i agree with baby steps… if we're not good enough to beat the cavs in the second round, we're not good enough to win the championship anyway… what difference does it make who we match up against in the second round? like i've said many times before, at our best we have the potential to beat any team in the league… at our worst, we could lose to the **** knicks… i'd rather gain momentum by winning the first round… hawks or cavs, if we play like **** we lose to either easily in the second.

Pretty damn close. Its hillarious how many chains hes wearing. Acting like hes some kind of a baller. That dude isn't getting any unless hes paying for it.
