Don't listen to much rap, but I was taking a look at Kendrick. That blacker the berry track is deep as hell with many topics like the prison industrial complex etc.

first 3 seasons are some of the best TV ever made, show went way downhill after that imo. in fairness its really hard to keep a tv show good for that many seasons.

i like seasons 7 and 8 the best

don't want to be that defensive guy on kdots nuts, but you could say to pimp a butterfly is a trash 'rap' album, but it's not 'trash' music. unless you're the type of guy that says everything outside your genre lane is trash, in which case i do not respect your taste in music.

it being a trash rap album is obvious. imo, its not that great of an album - however genre-bending it is. I love jazz btw, i listen to real jazz tho, miles davis, john coltrane etc. I'd rather listen to pure jazz than this frankenstein monster, hodgepodge of a rap album.

I like reggae but when snoop did reggae i was under no obligation to praise it regardless of my feelings for snoop

well if you like genre's to stick to their own than okay. personally, hearing rap over free jazz gave me a little tingle in my dingle with excitement. haters gon' hate though, sorry you didn't get GKMC2.
