Congrats to our HOF center

Even though we didnt get the championship that year, the energy was the same around here. Happy to hear he wants to be remembered as a nugget.. I believe that team was one of our best squads ever.

He was one of the best defensive centers in the game, very deserving !

Great timing with his shot blocking. He plug the lane very well. Not sure why he wanted to be the offensive guy,not going to lie but his offense was super ugly.

I have tons of respect for him for his huge contribution to charity work with less fortunate people.

In the early 90's, when the Celtics were horrible, I was a Denver Nuggets fan. Especially in 1994, when we didn't make the playoffs, I was glued to watching the Nuggets run. I'll never forget their upset win over the Sonics and Mutombo lying on the court in the final game. I was pretty upset when they lost in the next round.

When you think of offensive greats of the game, a ton of players come to mind, but when you think defense, the first player to come to my mind after Bill Russell is Mutombo.
