They won by almost 30.

Pierce returned and put up good numbers.

I think Porter shouldn't force anything.

There is a road to hana of distance between what I wrote and ... and your last sentence.

If only we had given all of Otto's minutes to Martell.

Could it be that Otto Porter is already a good glue guy?

In the body there are bones and muscles, but what would they be without ligaments and tendons holding them together?

Otto's been on the court during some real good play by the Wizards.

re my post in the standings thread, we have a better chance of finishing ahead of CHI.
But I think we match up ok vs TOR if Lowry isn't 100%. He gives Wall fits and that
is key to beating us. If Lowry can't fluster Wall, we can probably take TOR. JMO.

First of all, hey jim!

I think the Wizards might have a bit of swagger back. If they realize they don't have to rely on Wall pounding the ball, or the ball sticking to NenĂª instead of a cutting Gortat, and they space the floor with Gooden--wow, I ran that sentence...

If they are smart the Wizards match up well with everyone but Cleveland and Atlanta.

I don't want to see the Bulls, personally. Thibs will kick Wittman's ass next time, most likely. Mirotic is potentially a beast. But even if the Wizards meet the Bulls Washington might be favored.

Lou Williams, DeMar Derozan, and Amir Johnson concern me. Lowry can be less than 100 percent and they still have a psychological advantage.

There's a reason why John is our point guard, he has the greatest understanding of what his teammates strengths/weaknesses are and he knows how to get everybody involved. He knows Porter is a capable player, and if you look at the recent games he was actively looking to get Otto the ball.

[b]No one else on the roster has that understanding of how to make teammates better, [b]which hurts a guy like Porter who is trying to establish himself on the team.

Otto hasn't been playing consistently, he probably feels like he doesn't have enough clout yet to call his own number over the vets. Right now Wall is the only one who can help bring Otto out of his 'shell' offensively.

The teammates made teammates better last night. Bynum and Sessions had 7 assists. Gortat and Gooden had 4 and 5 assists. Pierce and Beal had 3 assists. Actually, the Wizards offense per the box score and results was seamless without Wall ball.

I think others who say Porter defers are right. I think teammates like Butler are much more eager to shoot. Porter is content to do the little things. Teammates know that Otto Porter is still not very willing to launch shots.

Wall just happens to play at a very fast pace, which does suit Otto's ability to keep up.
