Two big scares in two games. Kemba had a bad knee scares against ATL, I thought for sure some ligaments were gone based on the contact.

Hope it's a quick mend for PJ so he can do work this offseason.

That was the kind of game we needed to see from Noah to make us feel a little better going into the summer. I wish I could say the same about some of the other young guys on the roster.

I stopped watching after the first quarter. What point should I go back to watch Vonleh? Did he do most of his damage in the 2nd half?

Clifford is an absolute moron. There was no way maxiell was a better option then vonleh the whole year. There's no reason why vonleh should not have gotten minutes this year.

he had 8/5 at halftime

in the 4th he hit a 3 and made a midrange shot, he had a dunk in the late 2nd around the 1 min mark.

NBA.com will have video of everything in his game log in awhile

Feel MUCH better about Vonleh now. Hairston not so much

Damn. CJ Miles dropped 30 today. Hairston got some ways to go. Hope he get well soon from that knee sprain.

The "Confused" picture of MoWill on instagram after last game and the fact that he did not play this game intrigue me...

Could it really be that management has ordered Clifford to give Troy Daniels a try? I don't think anyone on this board would assume that Clifford would himself willingly start playing a young'un in the place of a veteran.

Got around to watching the game finally (family event kept me away), super ugly overall. Seemed like the only guys who gave serious effort were Hendo/Vonleh/Roberts/Daniels. Vonleh's offensive skill set is really impressive, if he ever gets paired with a good coach on that side of the ball he's going to flourish. I wish he had jacked threes on a couple of specific possessions in the 2nd quarter. He made the right basketball play by passing up a long shot early in the clock, but he ended up giving the ball to PJ in both instances which just resulted in an insta-shot so it would have been just as well (and better, for my tastes) had he simply taken them himself.

This team without MKG has no defense and without Cody we have no one who can set a screen properly and then hit an open jumper. Vonleh can hit the jumpers but he can't screen worth a damn, Max has the opposite problem. I actually think our offense would be roughly equivalent with or without Al if the rest of our lineup was healthy, but that ship sailed a long time ago. It's obvious a bunch of our guys have quit on this season, I just wonder if they have also quit on Cliff. Exit interviews should be tons of fun for management.

Vonleh got 16/10, so eff it, I'm happy. Should have been playing him since 2015 rolled around, but that horse has already been beaten to death. I hope we give him a decent role next year and see what he can do.

oh yeah, it kept bothering me as well. he could have pulled the trigger on many pick-n-pops. or on plays where he flashed to the three-point line right as Biz or Max cut down the lane on a pick-n-roll. Tolliver wasn't really getting in his face that far out.

that being said, I liked the three or four drives he took on possessions where he could have attempted the three. really showed his agility on those plays.

Yep, I like the fact that he doesn't just immediately settle for threes and actually appears to continue running the offense first, then looks to drive second, then settles third...but I would also like to see him shoot tons of threes just to know what he's capable of at volume. It's a really weird feeling.

Honestly it's probably better in the long-term if he attacks the hoop now and cuts off of the mediocre screens he sets, just because players naturally gravitate toward the long ball later in their careers anyway. I just wish we had guards who would find him when he's diving toward the rim, he had at least two easy lobs for dunks if our wings were capable, they just aren't. Made me miss Lance for a second, come to think of it. Lance would definitely have gotten in a Vonleh alley at some point in garbage time.

I want to see him shoot more because like you I want to see how he does with multiple 3s. I like how he is able to put the ball on the floor and that he isn't a chucker though. Will be interesting to see how he develops his game this summer.
