Vooch, Gordon and Winslow for Cousins? That is giving up too much imo

I'd give up Randle OR Clarkson and 4th for Cousins. Adding Clarkson and it'd be too much. And I'm the biggest Cousins' homer ever. And I really, really like Clarkson and especially Randle.

I don't know if it is. You'd have Payton, Oladipo and Cousins for the future of your team, in the weak East.

Who knows if Gordon or Winslow will amount to anything and you're getting the most talented center in the league.

Fair deal imo.

Clarkson, Randle and a #4 for Cousins is a steal for the Lakers.

Cousins to the Knicks or Lakers for their pick makes sense. If you're a fan of either the Knicks or Lakers, would you rather do that or keep your pick and just sign Monroe?

I know. But I really like Clarkson. I feel like he's gonna be a 6'5 PG averaging 15/6/5 while playing good defense. I like that. Randle is uncertainity although he's pretty nice prospect and I love that he's Lakers fanboy. The fear of trading the future is huge, man, after Dwight/Nash thing...ya know...the thing...not a big deal. Tho, I don't even know who'd fill out the rest of the team if both are traded. I feel like our pf/c position would be pretty solid with Boogie, Hill, Black and Kelly. I'd be concerned about PG/SF positions. That's why I don't wanna trade Clarkson. But ultimatively I'd do it. As long as Scott is not the coach. Put anybody but him as the coach.

Man...What the heck are the Kings doing? Cousins was commited to the team......Good god. This wasn't a KLove situation.

Awful management from the Kings. Hopefully they can keep him. I feel for you Sac Fans.

IF it's only for the pick I'd take it and run with it. Boogie >>>>>>>>>> any prospect available at #4 + Monroe. It just adds more superstar power to the team.

I would be hoping like crazy for a KLove situation. Cousins is a fraud superstar. Look at how Anthony Davis has the Pelicans on the cusp of the playoffs in only his 3rd year. Cousins has never even sniffed that. If the Knicks or Lakers get the #1 pick and the Kings can trade Boogie for that, I would be dancing in the streets if I was a King's fan.

Boston makes the most sense, given they have the assets and can use a legit building block.

They'll probably offer Cousins for the #1 pick.

I wonder if you own the #1, if you do that trade.

The problem is that Cleveland only traded Wiggins for Kevin Love so they could get LeBron back. I doubt LeBron would have returned had the Cavs not assured him they would make that trade. The only teams I see trading the #1 pick for him are LA and New York. They're desperate to improve and will do anything to get a player like Cousins.

This actually makes the most sense. Kings get an elite prospect with no attitude issues. Cousins would love to be in a big market like LA, and for the rest of the NBA fans outside of LA, it will be fun to watch all the fist fights and drama that Kobe and Cousins will get into over the next year

Anything and everything on the Celtics is fair game for Cousins. This team is hopelessly lacking in talent.

This is a false narrative propagated by media outlets. It's quite embarrassing that people still believe this; Cousins, when you consider youth, impact, and skillset is the best big in the league bar none. Anyone on the Rockets outside of Harden would be up for grabs if he hits the market.

I think 99 out of 100 people would rather have Davis. You are the 1 that wouldn't. Cousins is not the best big in the L, and Davis is even younger. He's up there, though.

Wtf has Cousins done ? Besides be in the lottery each year. It could be management but the guy is good enough to at least peak at the playoffs. They have Rudy Gay, Carl Landry, Darren Collison.

Anthony Davis is by far the better player and teammate because he plays team ball and isn't selfish. Cousins is a very selfish player who IMO will find a way out of Sacremento and into a big matey where his big ego deserves.

Cousins might be the most skilled big aside Davis but there are guys like Gasol, Aldridge, and Drummond who I'd much rather build around.

I really don't think Cousins is an LA guy. Too big and too fake for him. He hates that stuff. It took him 4+ years to make an appearance on one of those stupid LA shows, like Jimmy Kimmel or Grantland, during which he is clearly uncomfortable.

After you making me aware he hates all that ish then by god would i want him to come to Orlando.

But as a fan who has been stung twice by all star C's leaving, I hope Boogie works out for the kings and doesn't leave

That took less time than usual for George Karl to alienate his superstar player.

QRich3 wrote:Cousins isn't getting traded this offseason, even if he demands it, unless Vivek goes full r*tard. Look at all of the stars recently traded after demanding a trade, Love, Howard, Paul, Melo. All of them were traded between half a season and two seasons after it was reported they had demanded the trade. Find something in common? all of them were traded just as they were about to become free agents.

Cousins has 3 seasons before that, imagine he wants out but the Kings start really hot next season, they are a playoff team, and he's an MVP candidate. Any unhappiness he might've had is gone, the Kings happily retain him and avoid trading him for 10 cents on the dollar. That's the reason no superstar is traded until the very last season of his contract, and the reason Cousins will be in Sacramento for a couple more years at least.

I hope the Magic get him, but to me, this is the best argument for Sactown does not trade him. Even assuming he demands a trade, they have plenty of time to change his mind. Reminds of the Aldridge situation in Portland. Rumors were he wanted out. Then they snag Lillard, and everything changes. No more trade rumors.

If anything, they have the assets to give George Karl a lineup that can contend. They can flip the 6th pick and Stauskas for Ty Lawson. They can use their cap space to add a PF since the cap is actually going up. I mean what if Love does opt out and they convince him go to California and play with Cousins, Gay and Lawson? A lineup of Cousins-Love-Gay-McLemore-Lawson? Or maybe throw the max at Milsap and role out with Cousins-Milsap-Gay-McLemore-Lawson?

Seems like Sacramento has way more options than Orlando did with Howard.

He has worked out for the Kings, but the Kings haven't worked out for him. They have failed to build a good team around him, and they antagonize him at every turn. If the Kings want to continue like this, then even though I'm a fan I would be relieved if they let him go.
