Yup. Pacers control 8th spot solely. Control their own destiny.

So, our tiebreaker over Miami doesn't matter anymore. If we tie with Miami, we either have Brooklyn jump is with a win and they get in, or it ends up in a 3 way tie with Brooklyn and Miami, where Miami would win the 3 way tiebreaker. We also lose the head to head tiebreak against Brooklyn. So, we've got to be ahead of Brooklyn.

Win out, we're in. Win only one and have Brooklyn lose their remaining game, we're in. Win only one and Brooklyn win their remaining game? We're out. Lose both, no matter what, we're out.

Going INTO tonight:

Standings
7-Boston* 38-42
8-Indiana 37-43
9-Brooklyn 37-44
10-Miami 36-45
Games remaining
Boston (clinched a playoff berth, seeding is up for grabs)
Apr 14 Raptors
Apr 15 @ Bucks

Brooklyn
Apr 15 Magic
In the event of a 2 way tie for the 8 seed with only Indiana, Brooklyn holds the tiebreaker, and would go to the playoffs, while Indy would enter the lottery at the 11th or 12th spot in the draft lottery, depending on how Utah finishes their season.

Indiana
Apr 14 Wizards
Apr 15 @ Grizzlies

Miami
Apr 15 @ Philadelphia

Miami is ONLY potentially alive if Indy AND Brooklyn lose out, thus creating a 3 way tie for the 8 seed. ANY win by Brooklyn or Indiana eliminates Miami from the playoffs.

That probably wasn't the first half we were hoping for. 41-33 Wizards. We can't hit anything thus far.

What a gritty 2OT win. Now, let's never speak of this game, ever again. That was ugly.

AlSo, why the heck was Wittman player NG his starters over 40 minutes in a meaningless game? Odd duck, he.

Miami has been eliminated. Boston has clinched the 7 seed. So, tomorrow night, Brooklyn tips off early against Orlando, and we tip off late at Memphis. Win, or a Brooklyn loss, and we're in.

Respect for the Pacers. You made the last day of the regular season very interesting.
I suppose Wizards wanted this to be general rehearsal for the playoffs. I suppose they will take an off night in Cleveland tomorrow.

Ya it be huge if the Magic help us out tomorrow cause I think our guys are going to be dead towards the end of the game tomorrow. Does anyone know if the Memphis is really playing for anything? I looked at the standings they really don't I think. Cant get worst then 6th spot, they might be able to get up to the 5th spot but that really doesn't do much in the big picture for them.

Game moved late for Espn. Suppose we will know nets score.

Monday grizzlies could finish as high as two. Don't know current situation.
