I'm just glad that whole circle of freaks is far, far away from this franchise.

Not quite. Shelly Sterling still has the title of "No. 1 Fan" with seats per the condition of the team sale, but yes, at least Don S. and VD Stiviano are no longer associated with the team.

Bench screwed CP out of a 40% 3 point shooting season.

3 players with 90% FT and one guy with <40% FT :)

Good to see CP get up there for the first time in his career

56 wins you say?

Thought we'd have 46 the way the sky seemed to be falling around here.

Follow-Up: In Pursuit of Perfection

Dan Woike, Orange County Register (4/15/15)
“We were up huge and they were mad at a miscommunicated play,” Rivers said with a tinge of pride. “I like that.”

The on-court interaction, while intense, came in the pursuit of perfection, and as the Clippers enter the postseason, they’re going to need to be close to that level.

“It’s not about the other team,” Paul said. “It’s always about us.”

Griffin said the disagreement was about a couple of plays down the stretch of the first half.

“It’s a great thing, to me personally, for two guys to not settle for being up 20-whatever going into the locker room,” Griffin said. “It’s a perfectionist thing on both of our parts.”
...

“We’re all grown men here. When we need to talk, we’re going to talk,” Matt Barnes said. “…I think our biggest strides this year have been mentally.”

Can be anyone surprised with the bench? They play 0,000 minutes usually. And suddenly, yesterday have to play the full 4th quarter without taking a rest. In front of them, one Gerald Green on fire from beyond the ark, and a wounded Phoenix. They were never gonna lose the match, Phoenix will put it in single digits and that's all. No need to get the starters back. Take some timeouts, give some rest to people like grandpa Turkoglu, and start coaching this 2nd unit. We've got some interesting players right there, like Crawford, Hudson or Hawes. Just give them confidence.

Anyway, they will still play 0,000 minutes during the playoffs. So, it's not really a thing to worry about.

Clips should have lost this game.
If SAS beat NOP today, Clips would be 3rd seed. They'd face MEM in the 1st round. MEM is not a good matchup.
Had they lost this game, and if HOU beat UTA, Clips would slot into 5th seed. POR in the 1st round is an easier matchup than MEM.

I'd rather take on Memphis and meet the Warriors in the conference finals then in the semi's. Let them get banged up a little first.
