The Bucks want no part of Chicago, everything from matchup, coaching, home court advantage, all the way to the rowdy loud Chicago crowd during the games. They want Toronto to finish 3rd.

The Raptors are like us, almost 50/50 with what seeding they want with a slight favor for 4th seed going the Wiz > Hawks route.

The Wizards are confident they can bounce us again in the first round with a couple wise fans thinking otherwise. They don't want any part of Toronto, however.

The Hawks board is dead, but they're slightly worried about playing Indiana in the first round.

The Cavs want Boston and want to avoid Indiana in the first round. Most feel that the Bulls are their biggest obstacle (so yes, Rose leading the Bulls does strike fear into the heart of Cleveland Cavaliers fans...). They're trying to avoid playing BOTH the Bulls and the Hawks to get to the finals.

The Celtics are the crazy bunch. They welcome playing Cleveland in the first round.

Lol, Bucks fans are smart.....they know that we'll invade the Bradley Center

The lack of fans of Hawks fans doesn't surprise me at all

The cavs fans I'm a little surprised at though, because most of them on realcavsfans don't respect the bulls at all, and think that only Atlanta is a challenge. I think I've seen some of them say that they would beat the bulls in a sweep or 5 games tops.

I really wish we could face the wiz as a healthy team, because I want us to send their assess packing

Toronto just lost to Boston so for those who want the 3rd seed better hope we show up tomorrow.

Unlike most tank/all out seeding dilemmas, this one really does seem like a toss-up. I'd rather face the Bucks than the Wiz, obviously, but just as clearly rather face Atlanta than Cleveland in the 2nd round. And there may be some validity to the notion that it'd be easier to upset the Cavs in the 2nd round than the ECF.

One interesting variable is that if there's any matchup that's likely to force Thibs' hand and make him use Niko at the 4, it would be Washington. And if he establishes himself in that series it will be harder for Thibs to bury him afterwards. Against Milwaukee Thibs will use Niko strictly as a backup SF but we'll beat them anyway.

The Hawks have been resting players for a while now. No way we lose tomorrow.
Kris Bryant will go down as the greatest Chicago athlete after MJ

I see it like this... If we play the Bucks we have four home games, Bulls fans will go up there and make some noise! The next round vs the Cavs would be difficult but I think we can take them in 6 games or so. The thing is that the Bulls will have to try to contain the beast in LeBron

The Bucks imo aren't that far off from Washington. MCW and Giannis are pretty good basketball players. As are Middleton and Illy and to a lesser degree Mayo. There will be no sweep. Maybe 6 games.

After some thought, I'm voting for the Bucks/Cavs. The Bucks are obviously an easier opponent compared to the Wizards due to no inside presence, inexperience in the playoffs, and no really superstar impact player plus playing so close to home doesn't hurt either. The Wizards still scare me with bigs in Gortat/Nene giving some trouble to Gasol/Noah, experience in the playoffs, and stars making an impact in Wall/Beal. I don't want any surprises like last year and would rather have the Bulls face a more sure series win against the Bucks than the Wizards. Facing Cavs/Hawks or vice versa in rounds 2/3 are a wash too me so the main difference is the first round opponent. The Bulls should have enough time to gel as a team with Rose being back for 10ish games including the regular season by then to be ready for the Cavs in the 2nd round.

With that vote, it's 63-63, 50%. Only time will tell as the dust will settle tonight!

This is what I said in the other thread but I think it belongs here.

Are people serious here? Nobody is afraid of the Wizards team. But you can't deny that they would be a tougher opponent and they legitly hate Bulls and we hate them. There is a lot of animosity and if there is a fight, there maybe a suspension or two or someone might get hurt - who knows?

I rather play vs Bucks on a multi-level.

1 - 100x easier than Wizards to beat.
2 - Our frontcourt would dominate Bucks (even at best vs Wizards and Gasol has had hard time vs Wiz).
3 - Rose won't have to chase Wall all game long and get fatigued or tweak something (ankle/hammy/etc).
4 - Travel time - Playing in Milwaukee is like Bulls' 2nd home ground. Home court advantage both sides.
5 - Tune-up series. Stay healthy and be fresher when we play the Cavs in the 2nd round.

It's a no brainer actually.

I agree with the stance that I want to take on the Cavs this year. Even if we don't win, we will have a better clue of what the team needs. If we face ATL in the second round, may never get to go against the Cavs.

Plus all the points that cool007 made about the Bucks.

Or the Hawks don't care and sit everyone since they're already locked into 1

Cavs first, as we'll have to beat both top 2 teams either way, but if we lose to Cleveland in the 2nd, at least ATL has a chance to knock them off. We don't LeBron trying to start a new train of titles in Cleveland. ATL is more in the mold of a one year winner like Detroit or Dallas if they somehow did it.
