On behalf of all Wizards fans

Post#1 » by FAH1223 » Thu Apr 16, 2015 3:58 pm

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE sweep us and embarrass the Wizards

We're rooting for blowout losses in every game.

Ernie Grunfeld is the worst GM in the NBA

Wittless is the worst coach in the NBA Playoffs

I think the Wizards don't like the Raptors, and the Raptors don't like the Wizards, and because of that, all issues the players may have with the coaches will be put aside, as competitive juices will take over.

Are you just trying to Praise us?

The one good thing about the Wizards board was the "Incredibly Sucky Juan Dixon Thread"

On Gerald Henderson vs Derozan:
"Yes. Hendo is quite a bit better than DeMar.
So yes, I do believe he's currently the better player and do project that will continue to be in the future. I would also take Turner over DD."

Not if the man standing opposite him in this series has something to say about it.

I think Wiz fans are playing mind games, they want to win in the worst way but are just saying we'll beat them/or want us to beat them so they can get rid of their coach and to have something to lean on if they do lose. Not saying they don't want him gone, but I'm sure they'd rather take the chance of facing Atl in the 2nd round vs having Pierce and company get out of the first round in embarrassment.

I was reading their board and that's what I concluded with, I think some of our fans want something similar to happen where if we lose/win, its a win-win situation.

Either way, I'm happy we got this series cuz this will be a better challenge than the Bucks and I\m actually looking forward to watching the games, the players will be more motivated and so will the fans at the ACC. The ACC wouldn't be as loud if we played the Bucks and I promise you that, too many good reasons for the fans to get loud and I think we know them all by now.

No, we don't care about fool's gold this year.

Our chance to get into the ECF was last year and they blew it vs. Indiana in G2 and G4

The Wizards need this L badly. Leonsis needs to wisen th f*** up and get rid of Grunfeld.

Casey ups his game come playoffs... He'll try even harder to make Wittman look good. Have fun with that contract extension.

This is not just for you but I cant wait for our next coach so we can see all of the fans complain about him too. I don't think RealGM Raptor fans have ever liked any coach that was employed.

Casey led them to a #4 seed with 3rd there if they wanted it, with stretches of the season without Lowry and Derozan and people are still going hard with their Casey agenda. A few wins away from Cleveland too. It was a good season overall when you think about all the close games they had but couldn't pull it out. (blame Casey for those I guess)

With the way Raptors history is, we should be happy to be back in the playoffs with home court advantage. Instead most say we wouldn't make the playoffs in the West. They aren't in the West so it doesn't matter. We only have to get through the crappy East teams.

Washington is a good team. They are getting older but the potential is there with that backcourt. We'll see...
2025 is going to be a hell of year - have fun with it.

See, this is weak as hell, and it's preventing this from being a good series. Trying to make it a lose-win, scenario for the Raps.

One things clear though. Raps fans >>>>>>>>>>>> Wiz fans. Never let it be said otherwise. **** happens in the reg season, but when the playoffs roll around, you don't cheer for your team to lose.

Hey man I'm not hating on Casey at all, he actually has done wonders.
What bothers me is his 4th Quarter meltdowns and how we always end up losing in the final minutes.
And most often, it happens when we had the lead up until that point.
Who do we honestly blame for that? The players AND the coaching staff.
Apart from that, no complains really.

Every coach has his flaws, and he will be called out for it. Welcome to the NBA.

Our coach has his brainfart moments too; we're a bad team to count on. That said, if the Wiz lay down I won't complain. But the talent on the team still looks good on paper.

I understand where you are coming from but that is a historic Raptors problem. They have been blowing games in final minutes for years. It happened with Sam Mitchell too but I think that's just basketball and it being a game of runs. If we followed other mediocre teams through the years we would probably notice a lot of blown leads late in games for those teams too.

I think blame goes to players and coaching staff, yes. I think we have been lucky overall for the past two years. We have a team that has fought hard and not given up in MOST games. Any game in the last two years where we were down, we fought back hard to make it a game. If there is one thing about this team its that they definitely don't quit. Not that we should keep Casey forever but it would be nice to have a coach that we can keep for years like Sloan or Popovich. Those guys knew they had full authority to run the team the way they want and players either tried to fit the system or they were sent packing. That's what we need here --a real identity to Raptors basketball that will last more than 2-3 years.
On Gerald Henderson vs Derozan:
