Gasol won't just play in NYC, he will play with a legit all star that has shown can take over games offensively, something he doesn't have in Memphis. He can stay in Memphis and get that extra money, but until that team gets him another all star on that team he won't win jack **** in the playoffs.

Aldridge has Lillard, so I would understand his decision way more if he stays with Portland.

I disagree with alot of the assessment here.

Gasol is right now in a situation where Randolph has ceded alpha status to Gasol and where Mike Conley plays pg with post needs in mind and Gasol has offensive control on many possessions at the post. I dont think he would be keen on playing out in NY second fiddle to Melo, a seemingly iso post guy.

Aldridge has Lillard... a shoot first point guard who plays no defense. Dame is not exactly a great compliment to Aldridge. Most of Aldridge plays/points come from high post isos. Would he want to come to NY and play along side Melo who does much of the same thing?

But who actually knows what is on these guys minds. I dont think its simple and straightforward.... except for the getting more money part.

Gasol going to New York won't guarantee a title, but him having Melo would automatically give him the best teammate he ever had in his whole career. Teamwork can only get u so far, but the norm in this league is that star players win titles with other star players. Look if I was him, I probably would stay in Memphis, cause get your money first and foremost. But I'm just talking about title potential. If he wants to win a title, New York is an easier and more realistic path than staying in Memphis. Honestly, the Spurs would give Gasol a better shot at a title than Memphis, because out there he would have a developing all star in Leonard, and an already established player in Parker at pg. Gasol won't win a title without another star player besides him. He doesn't have one in Memphis. Plain and simple.

Except Toronto fans most of the posters think Wiz will win vs Raps. It's very nice but it's delusional :D

I got the Celts over the Cavs.
I will only cherish the wins and ignore everything else, because that's the only way to survive as a Knicks fan.

Don't know, man. I saw the Celtics played the Cavs toe to toe and won the season series. If they let LeBron shoot outside jumpers and he goes cold, his teammates might follow suit. Well, we know what happened when that scenario unfolds.... playoffs exit.

Give me Atlanta over BK in 6 I think BK offers some resistance and Brook has a big series
Give me the Cavs over the Celts in 4 Get the Brooms out too much Lebron James
Give me the Raptors over the Wiz in 7 Bloodbath from two teams that have been struggling.. Raps have more firepower and JV has a good series
Give me the Bulls over the Bucks in 5 Too much veteran playoff experience.. big series for Gasol

Give me the Dubs over the Pels in 6 I think Davis has a monster series and that's why Pels win 2
Give me the Rockets over the Mavs in 6 because they don't have anyone to check Harden
Give me the Clips over the Spurs in 7 in an upset Jordan slows Duncan down and Griffin shines
The Blazers Grizz series really is a toss up.. on the one hand I see LMA having huge games but I think Conley gives Lillard trouble and is able to somewhat slow him down. Gasol needs to have a big series and I think ZBO is a tough matchup for Portland.. Give me Grizzlies in 7.

When you look at these teams it's crazy to think how far away the knicks are from being contenders. There's a massive gap in talent and coaching

Pelicans can win 2 games against gsw at their best.

with or without d.rose bulls cant beat cavs in playoff series.
Also todays healthy d.rose isnt playing like superstar.

Bucks wont be easy for bulls.
