Predict the Wizards Record '14-'15 season

This year the Mean of 48.4, Mode 46.5 (46 and 47 are tied).

This year the Mode was very close. Last year's Mode was spot on with 44.

This tells me that the board's group think is actually pretty good.

I mean that's what the Wizards are. They are a 45-50 win team in the Eastern Conference. I guessed 43, but that's only because I thought Wall would miss some time, and the team would slump with him being out. Coincidentally, they slumped with Wall in the lineup.

...Not sure what you think this league consists of but there are only about 6 teams I would say have a clear advantage to win a series against the Wizards.

Its not clear to me MEM or POR own us. But lets toss them in .. thats 8.. that is not average. Average is 15

Mediocre is average.

This is a better team then people give them credit. Its just Randy is terrible at line ups and offense and time outs. Really good defensive coach and that has a lot to do with why we are pretty good. But the coaching and some roster improvement keeps them from being in that elite tier.

They are in the tier below that. Which is above the average tier. Which is above the Mediocre tier which is above the below average teams which is above the bad teams. We used to be a bad team. We know what that looks like. Average was the Gil, AJ, CB teams. This team is not average. Its above average and just below elite.

Wizards are not Mediocre. They are better then that.

Hands, by definition a team that went 41-41 against an average overall nba schedule of opponents would be exactly an average team.

Because the Western Conference is stocked with better teams than the Eastern conference, and we played 52 games vs. EC teams, it's a good guess that our schedule was easier than average. It's reasonable to conclude that we are just about an average NBA team.

You can claim all you want that it's all because of Randy; it's not something that can be demonstrated in any way at all. And anyway, Randy is part of the team! We also lose a lot of games because we have a deficient GM who can't build a powerful team. That doesn't make us better than our record.

Your record is how good you are. It's the only metric that matters. And every team's fans think their team is really a little better than their results show -- it's natural! But of course, that can't be true can it? For one team to do a little better other teams have to do a little worse.

Mediocre is exactly what the Washington Wizards are. It's the perfect word for the Wizards. And, it's worth adding, it's a lot better than we were only 2-3 short years ago!
