Good. After Lebron, he's the best possible option.

He's intrigued by New York.

Paul Allen (Blazers Owner) is one of the wealthiest men in the Universe and he's not afraid to spend to win. Aldridge is clearly deserving of the max. There's no way the Blazers not offer him the max and, for a guy who has said that money is very important, there's no way Aldridge would turn it down. Now he may go "on tour" like Lebron and Carmelo did, but at the end of the day, let's be real...he'll do what Carmelo did, stay with the money.

Don't want to throw a max contract at a 30 year old in our current situation. It's a no brainer for Portland but very risky for us.

Most factors point to Aldridge re-signing, but it’s definitely not a lock.

Yeah. For example, everything coming from Aldridge himself. There's not even a friend of a friend of a source of a source quoted in that article.

Don't see how money's an issue. The long term contract Portland can give him appears to be less attractive with the cap going up. Don't think we'll get him, but I'm glad he appears to be open minded.

Unless he has major beef with Lillard, there's no real reason for him to leave 29 million on the table. He can be intrigued by the Knicks, fine. Melo seemed very much intrigued by the Bulls. Intrigue isn't paying his bills though.

It's a no brainer for the team who is going to end up paying him more for longer? Eh.

Knicks can use him for the next 4 seasons. No doubt about that.

He wouldn't be leaving 29 Mil on the table. I doubt that he'd even want to sign a 5 year deal.

Hopefully the Grizzles obliterate Portland in the first round. Old fashion 4 game ass reaming, take you behind the whip shed give it to you raw type stuff. Average margin of victory will have to be +50 for Memphis for this to happen.

I guess I could see him taking a 1 year deal to sign a bigger extension...but he could do that without leaving Portland.
