Disagree. There are plenty of respectful 19 year olds that would not behave like that.

Isn't this story two or three months old? This is an old journo's trick, a bad journalist of course. And Eskin's not a journalist. He's a talking head. You get beaten on a story, then you sit on it for several weeks (in the case, months) and run with it as if it's new. I'd be more inclined to look at Embiid's new sleek body…and whatever footage management is releasing about his two-on-two/two-hour drills…to ascertain his attitude. I'm expecting 18 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks/game next year…if he's healthy.

Eskin is a goober with no sources. His own son clowns him. I am sure Embiid did get fined. Back in January when he got sent home. He finally hit the court and no issues were heard from again. Trust me, if Embiid was going full Bynum (dear lord...) and stuff, Eskin wouldn't be the guy who breaks the story and we would have heard a lot more about it...

Hinkie is not well liked by the local media and parts of the national media, some of it is well deserved mind you, if there was a story about how his centerpiece was a tool, it would have been out and about more frequently. Again I think Embiid simply got frustrated with sitting out and rehab, blew it off, got fined and got the message and got his fat ass in shape. End of story...for now.

Is it really necessary for teams to always go this route when it comes to getting rid of players.

Embiid is not being traded. Stop the nonsense.

Well he's most likely tired from drawing up all those plays for them to run.

You actually can't know this since team fines aren't public. Boogie could be late just as much. But you are kidding yourself if you don't see why people think he's immature and needs to grow up

Just like their a plenty of 19 years olds who would behave like that. All young adults go through a phase on learning how to be an adult.

Immaturity? Maybe. But this also means he is more than healthy that he was able to do all those pre-game stuffs despite missing theraphy.

FWIW, if this is true. This overblown issue will only help Embiid improve his maturity by learning that everything thing he do has consequence because he is now a public figure.

That goes to show that being late doesn't automatically makes you an NBA cancer.

Thanks for pointing that out.

19 year old cant play the game he loves for a year and loses a family member.

Turns up late a couple of times.

Team fines him.

Player works hard and gets himself into great shape and no further reported issues.

This isn't even a story.
