I still think until Kobe is willing to play 2nd or 3rd fiddle to younger talent, LA is going to be mediocre. It's fine if he "takes over" in the 4th, but he can't be their 1st option for the majority of the game.

I agree. I don't think they are doing anything with Kobe. After Kobe, I still think it would take a while to get to playoffs even if they did get Rondo and Love. I don't know why people think rookies would play a big part in getting them in playoffs. There are still at least 8 or 9 west teams far better not relying on rookies or second year guys.

Anthony Davis almost singlehandedly overcame a huge deficit and got the Pels back in that game with a monster 4th quarter. The kid is something special. Maybe someday we'll strike gold in lottoland and land our very own

AD is truly amazing in his first playoff game ever he put up 35 a point more than Curry.

Hopefully Evans' knee is ok. It would be great if the Pels could pull off the upset.

Even though last game got close the Warriors will learn from this so next time they won't blow a 20+ lead in the 4th. I can't see Pel's even winning one game unless AD gets help from Evans or Gordon. This warriors team is very difficult to beat one moment the game is within 4 points and rises to 15 quickly cause of curry/Thompson shooting.

I'm watching this Cavs-Celtics game and while IT is scoring a lot, Kyrie is absolutely torching him. 20 pts in the 1st half on 8-12 shooting.

Kyrie is just pulling up right over IT and there's nothing IT can do about it due to the height difference. IT is right at Kyrie's hips at the 3pt line and yet Kyrie doesn't even know there's someone standing in front of him and just calmly knocks down the 3s.

They should let Mighty Mouse play on stilts as compensation

That is exactly what I said all season. It is literally impossible for a guy that is 5'9" to play defense in the NBA. What is he supposed to do? People can literally just shoot right over him. He cannot contest the shot. That is what drove me nuts the most with that insane three point guard lineup. 5'9" pg, 6'1" sg, and 6'3" sf. Quite possibly the dumbest lineup of all time. What good is having three ball handlers? You only need one anyway. Then the worst part is that every player is totally overmatched on defense. Suns wasted half the season with that lineup. That was the most disappointing part of this past year.

Irving often hits shots no matter who is guarding him though. Smart was in his face on one of the three pointers. As for IT, I wasn't a fan, and his lack of size to play D is frustrating, though I'm pretty sure on both teams he played this year the team outscored the opponent when he was on the floor, so whatever he gives up on D he more than compensates offensively. Of course this is largely against bench units though.

Jeez the East is cupcake , the imbalance is a joke. Too bad Silver shot down any proposal for conference realignment/parity

True, Toronto-Washington is the only interesting series. Meanwhile in the west every series is unknown, except for Golden State-New Orleans

The only intriguing matchups in the West are Clippers vs Spurs and Grizz vs Blazers imo. I don't think the Mavs have a chance, but AD can at least keep things interesting against the Dubs

I wouldn't understimate Mavs. Last year they were close to beating Spurs.

I think today's beatdown officially cements the end of the dynastic Spurs era

Blake reminds me of Suns Amare... Good days when we were exciting.

I think the Clippers are taking the Spurs, but the Clips will lose in the 2nd round to the Rockets.
