Nicky Nix Nook Retires; Wolfay Interim Moderator

Post#1 » by Howard Mass » Sun Apr 19, 2015 11:59 pm

RealGM San Francisco 49ers Users,

I am here to announce a Moderator Change for this forum.

Nicky Nix Nook has retired as a Moderator due to obligations in non-cyber life. I thank him for his service to the forum and wish him well.

He has an open door to return whenever he wants.

Sacramento Kings Moderator Wolfay will be the Moderator on an interim basis.

I plan to select 1-2 permanent Moderators from this great group of fans no later than the start of the preseason.

Hey folks! I know I don't post very often, but I do read the forum regularly and I am hardcore 49ers fan (3rd generation!). We've got a great group around here, and I intend to keep it that way while we look for more permanent members of the 49ers mod team.

Can we make suggestions? I think RayDogg is an obvious choice. Calamity and Crimsoncrew would be other good choices.

I don't care who it is as long as they don't have small man complex like hammerdown or misko...

CC, RD or even MHSL82...

Hey Wolfay what do you Kings fans think McLemore? As a KU fan, I'm hoping to see him be more consistent but he's leaps and bounds more complete than when he played here. Cheers.

GREAT kid who works his tail off both on and off the court, but many of us hope to see a bit more consistency. He has made significant improvement this season over last season, and we're hoping to see another big leap next season. Most Kings fans hope to hold onto him, but he's also got good trade value. We'll see.

If you guys have suggestions on who should be a mod, I encourage you all to PM me to discuss it. It's not the typical way we select moderators, but this is also not a typical situation!

I will do it. Active poster, lifelong niner fan. I plan on being a relaxed moderator and only moderating in extreme situations.

And I think he will continue to progress and get more consistent. Tons of potential there. I do think he needs more touches though, having Rudy and Cousins (who never pass) isn't the most ideal situation for a shooter like him.

Don't let Sickness moderate. He'll trade away our best poster.

...and I don't want to be traded away.

Hey! I'm actually getting better with age. I'm more relaxed recently than I've been in the past and not EVERY SINGLE uninformed opinion sends me through the roof anymore. :)

Hey, what do you mean, "even" MHSL82? Huh?!!! ;)

I'd love to be moderator, as I've done it for other boards and I feel that I'm fair and o(cd)rganized.
