hammers: bobcats vs bulls

Post#1 » by fatlever » Thu Jan 3, 2008 4:52 am

another jeckel and hyde performance

gold - wallace - i'll forgive him a bit for getting used by noah and smith on defense. when you are always giving up 3-4 inches eventually you are going to have a game where the other team takes advantage.

silver - another solid game from jrich

bronze - its becoming nearly impossible to find a good reason to give anyone on this team a bronze. okafor was sorry on offense, dropping another 3 passes. nazr dropped 2 more passes. felton was good at finishing at the rim but rather awful running the team, especially when mcinnis was out. DA played great but he was only in for 14 minutes. i cant believe i am going to do this..... but my bronze goes to mcinnis, who ran the team well, for the most part.

Gold: Crash. I really thought at the half he'd have our 1st ever tripple double.

Silver: JRich. Worked really hard and shot the ball well.

Bronze: DA. Thought he was really effective when he was in and made some classic "vet" plays.

HM: Felts. I'd like to give you the bronze but you were a passenger in the 1st, great in the 2nd, horrible in the 3rd and the 4th was just no fun to watch. I still don't 100% blame you though.

Bulls announcer, Stacy King comments on the Gerald Wallace block of the Ben Gordon slam attempt.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

The best part of the game was seeing Emeka getting posterized by that skinny scrub Noah. How in the holy hell does Mek let that girl Noah throw one down on him like that?!??! Oh yeah right, JRich was allowing dribble penetration by the guards all night long. (Crash and Ray too)

Imagine if Okafor was that agressive on offense?

i cant really rag okafor for getting dunked on. shotblockers will eventually get posterized. half the bigs in the league would not have even tried to go up for that block.

noah is better than a lot of the haters expected. i doubt he'll ever be an allstar type talent but damn i'd love to have him on our team.

someone break the mcinnis/anderson tie for bronze..... PLEASE!

i refuse to award 4 hammers in a loss.

from now on bronze ties in a loss will be thrown out.

silver ties in a loss will both be awarded bronze

gold ties in a loss will both be awared silver.

that is a new official policy. take that!

I agree on the Noah statement. I did not want us to draft him because I didn't think he was that good. But I was wronge he is pretty good!
