I'd be a bit surprised if the Rockets beat the Clips, though I guess they do have home court. I just think the Clips are the type of team who has been knocking on the door and been to the second round enough to knock out an inexperienced playoff team. I guess you can say Howard and Harden have the experience to some extent, but I think the Clips are ready this year, unless they piss off the officials enough to let them reward Houston.

Thomas is a great player but he's not a fit for a Phoenix team that needs unselfish players. I wish him nothing but luck with Boston and hold no grudges in trading him.

Rockets have a lot of weapons. And as long as guys like Brewer/Terry/Smith come in off the bench and score in double figures, it would be hard to see them losing.

The Rondo meltdown in Dallas is insane.

I hope hope hope that the Lakers offer him a silly deal. Kobe + Rondo will be a disaster.

Rondo is extremely overrated, he needed Piece, Garnett, Allen along with others to help him excel. I don't believe he will ever improve his broken shot and will always be a liability on offense.

I feel bad for Dirk. He took a massive paycut and the best Cuban put together was a one and done team.

If Lakers sign Rondo to a max to play next to Kobe.. it'll prove that they are a mediocre to bad FO.
Rondo needs a specific team to be effective... in Celtics, he had 3 other team MVPs, all can play off the ball.

Mavs have ISOLATION type players, even Jason Kidd had to change his game to be able to play in that system.

I was wrong about Rondo. The attitude rumors and constantly being on the block in Boston were true. KG and Pierce kept him in line.

I can see the Mavs dumping Rondo and maybe even letting Ellis walk, and maxing out DeAndre and another guard. Or even trading for a guy like Deron Williams in the hope he'll turn it round. Either way, that Rondo deal was dumb then and it's even dumber now. Plus Parsons' deal is ridiculous as well...

The Parsons deal won't hurt too bad when the new cap kicks in.

Cuban would be wise to offer Aldridge or Jordan the max.

I'd also resign Ellis if I could get him for a reasonable price. Trade asset.

Does Monte Ellis have anything left in the tank? Worth Brandon Knight?

Lol the Pels will probably never be able to live down this monumental chokejob. They blew a 20 point lead into the 4th quarter and squandered every opportunity to keep the game from going into OT

I think it's safe to assume that Curry will be better then Jordan and become the best NBA player ever. There is no denying it the guy can't miss, great defender, can pass, has amazing handles and makes game winners with his eyes closed. Even with 2 or 3 rings he will surpass MJ.

The injuries sapped them of depth which is key to beating the Clippers (and might be the reason the Clippers lose to San Antonio)

I could see Rondo being dealt (s&t) for Deron. Keeps the Mavs competitive and they won't have too much left on his deal. Nets don't need to give him max but just something to shake things up since they're gonna be unable to rebuild for a while anyway.

I was pulling for the Bulls as the darkhorse in the East but if an earlier exit for them means he gets fired I would be thrilled if we could get him . But I doubt we move on from Horney this offseason, he's not on a short leash because the lack of talent on this roster.

Can someone post this video of LeBron very discretely rubbing a foreign substance on his gums and nose during the Celtics game. A trainer (or someone else) has something cupped in his hands and LeBron sticks his fingers into the guys hand the rubs his fingers on his nose and gums. he does it 2-3 times, and it's also discrete like he doesn't want people to know what he is doing.

Having a pre game pick-me-up to help "win one for the team" might be the way to go with HGH testing looming on the horizon.
