Brooks Out
Welp. I was wrong on that one, didn't think they'd do it. Better not be Ollie or Donovan.

It's official.
Not too surprised, given the echo of rumors over the last two or three seasons. OKC felt it was time to go in another direction in hopes to get their team back to the Finals since 2012. They are still a good squad, but they need some tweaks at SG and perhaps at backup SF and PF as well to get the team back in check to chase the title run beginning next season.

Re: Brooks Out
Ollie issued a statement,so he probably will not be new coach.
I'm little scared by rumors of Donovan. It was clear why everbody wanted Ollie, yes he would be rookie coach....but Durant and Russ adore him,but Donovan is complete enigma. It would be wiser to bring someone more experienced.
For me,good choice would be Mike Malone with strong assistant coach for offense, similar to Kerr situation in GS.
Malone is terrific coach for defense, and Cousins said a lot of positive thing about him, which is very remarkable if we know how tough is Cousins.
Guys I don't want to see are Mark Jackson(another Brooks) and TT(injuries).

Re: Brooks Out
I think Kevin Durant stays no matter who they hire except Marc Jackson.

Re: Brooks Out
I don't feel comfortable with Donovan or Ollie coaching this team. Even if OKC were to hire Ollie, I don't think he'll be another Steve Kerr. I might consider Thibs if he's available.
Why Presti fired SB when he could have add another top offensive assistant coach? I think this move was too early.
Any ways it's been a pleasure SB. I know I've said some harsh things about SB coaching, but he was a good coach. Good luck, and I hope you;ll succeed in another organization.

I don't usually do this stuff, and I wish him the best, but...
YEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!
YEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!
This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

I'll always appreciate Brooks, I hope its Adams, Gentry, or Thibs.

I don't think Presti cans him without going to KD and WB first. Yet it's still a risky move in my opinion because the Thunder are a contender even with Brooks. What if the new coach fails and is somehow worse than Brooks? Things might get ugly real quick.

Don't really understand doing it now instead of a couple years ago or at the end of next season.

Oh man. Some might call it gutsy, I call it idiotic because of the support for Brooks by KD, WB and Ibaka.
