the problem is that guys like lma and marc are comfortable where they are. their teams are good now. you have to sell them on being good on paper. and even if it looks good from a talent point of view, it might not be good from a chemistry standpoint. it doesn't work out every time you put guys together and they know that.

But if I was Gasol, they need to tell me what plans do they have to give him a star player to play besides. At the moment I don't see them beating GSW, Rockets, Clippers. That core in Memphis can only do so much, and they need to give Gasol a legit go to guy to play along side. Unless he just wanna stay for the money, then ok, nothing else needs to be discussed about him staying in Memphis.
