He'll make it based solely on reputation. Him taking on a much bigger burden on the offensive end took away a ton from his defense. That and Thibodeau plays him way too many minutes

Well this has been the first year that the Bulls haven't been top 10 defensively under Thibs. Butler shouldn't make it reputation or not and definitely not over MKG. Damn that Bonnell. Fire him already. He don't even like the team.

He nearly gave Hayward all nba third team. I know Hayward had a great year, and I've watched him only twice but dang.

Regardless. Imagine us this year with Hayward at the 2... Ugh.

Yeah, I was completely against us throwing a max deal at him, but Hayward's been good. Max is still an overpay, rising cap or not, but we're desperate enough to need that skillset.

That's more love than Bonnell has given a player all year. So sad and pathetic .

The day Bonnell get canned I hope somebody videotape it. I would love to see and hear his reaction. I'm sure he'll act totally oblivious to it ever having a possibility of happening.

Of all people that shoulda gave MKG a vote on one of the all-defense teams it shoulda been the Hornets writer knowing that we're a top 5 defense in the league with him on the floor and a bottom half defense without him.

James and Butler were both very pedestrian defensively this year, Bonnell giving them the reputation vote.

MJ needs to call the Observer and request a new beat reporter, Bonnell doesn't deserve his job.

Nice, if he had avoided missing so much time we'd likely be in the playoffs now and he would have been voted as high as 4th in my opinion. I'm glad the organization promoted him, he deserves to be recognized as an elite defender.

That rep will help him get more than his share of 50/50 calls that have obviously not gone his way over the first few years of his career.

Rick Bonnell is a cantankerous idiot. I've talked to enough people in and close to the Observer to begin wondering how he still has a job... no one likes him. Coworkers don't like him, fans don't like him, players don't like him. He's whiny, he's unintelligent, and he has the pace of an injured sloth. Dude needs to go.

I see some random names voting for MKG. a Blazers announcer (Mike Rice), a Raptors announcer (Jack Armstrong), a Celtics reporter.

by the way, a shameless plug that if you want to read my review on MKG's season, which includes things I like about his defense, you can read it here:

is MKG that much worse a defender than Green? I can imagine Green is better than Rudy
