Also, a team like Orlando who is one of the worst offensive teams in the league doesn't have the luxury to let go of 1 of only 3 reliable scorers and replace his production with a guy who can't score outside of the paint.

Re: THE Aaron Gordon thread
AG said he finally had the game slow down for him much later in the season then he would of if he hasn't gotten injured. I believe the people who have faith in him and have a vision for his potential, such as myself, are not concerned with Tobias now vs Gordon come early next season. Gordon will show everyone what's up and it won't be a debate come January.

No way should we let Harris go, I agree, but off the bench or starting with Aaron would he be better served

The numbers don't lie. Harris is our most efficient perimeter scorer. There are very few players who are realistically available who can do it better, especially for a cheaper amount than what Harris will command in free agency.

Re: THE Aaron Gordon thread
On this current roster It's not a Gordon vs Harris issue here, its a Gordon vs Frye issue. Gordon played/plays mostly PF. If he plays it now while he is still weak, he will definitely play it as he continues to get stronger.

Re: THE Aaron Gordon thread
The right offensive coach could teach him and Dipo how to keep swinging the ball around. I love watching the back to back to back screen and rolls that GS does. We need some of that as well

He averaged 17ppg without even having the offense go through him (he was 3rd in line). His scoring was up AND his percentages were up, what are you even talking about?

I can't wait to see him Payton and Vic next season and how much they'll improve. I want every series this playoffs to sweep just to get it all done with asap. (Not sure if that would change the schedule at all :/)

If we only played Gordon instead of Frye, and had Channing as only a backup C for 14mpg our record would have been quite a bit better. At least 4-5 more wins with that switch alone.

Then dedmon/koq could come in and wed NEVER give up D at the PF spot

KOQ is terrible at the PF spot. He's played okay in reserve as a backup C, but were kinda stuck with Channing, so that's that unless they just bench him regardless of how much they are paying him.

KOQ doesn't have to be good. He just has to have as many fouls as he does minutes to be our secret super let down player turned garbage villan

Re: THE Aaron Gordon thread
Send Aaron Gordon to the Spurs for a couple years and let him grow up then bring him back. He'll be a bonafide hall of famer if Pop had em until 22 or so.

I'm at the point to where I cant see the Spurs replicating this type of stuff regardless of who they bring in once Pop and/or the Holy Trinity (Duncan/Manu/Parker) retire. Its like they and Pop made a deal with the devil man. Once one of them leave the deal is over.

Send him to the Hawks then. Budenholzer seems to know Pop's recipe.

Kawhi will turn 25 in June. Aaron is still 19 until September. It's gonna take patience but I believe the player that Gordon will be at age 25 will be among the favorite Magic players of all time.
