I've actually generated a nice buzz with the first batch so thanks to everyone who took time out of their day and hyped me up either on twitter or on other message boards. It really worked.

Love the Lance to Biz ally oops video.

First dunk is great for the smile it puts on Biz's face, the 2nd one is just awesome. It looks like a crap pass at first but Biz really reacts well.

Nice work. The write ups on Biz and Noah were amazing.

Nailed on the music, had the same thought. I'd love to go with all organ over what we have now.

I absolutely detest the AC/DC "Oi!" loop.

I'll take it as a compliment, haha

grading stuff with letters just never made sense to me. we have a system from 1 to 10, with 10 being the best possible mark. I tried to spin it in a manner of a recurring joke.

Heh, I guess that you do have to know the history of the team to appreciate the Star Wars Imperial March. Short answer is that it's from the early days of the old Hornets. Bringing it back is a retro move that was likely part of the rebrand.

That said, there is some fun detail around it. The Imperial March was put in for Alonzo Morning, the team's Darth Vader (and this was WELL before all the crappy prequels). One of the sideline reporters joked that he sort of expected Zo to turn around and say "I am your father!" at some point. Sadly I can't remember if the music came before or after that, but either way lots of old time fans remember that music well, if not the reason why the team adopted it.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Yeah. I mean our system is a 1-100 system and then from there your letter grade is made. All our letter grades have a numeric range assigned to them. Depending on where you are it is a different range. It can be very confusing at times if you shift from one school to another and the system changes.

1, 2 and 3. According to that home-page all of that is equivalent to an F.

I would have thought that you have Ds and Es as well.

wow. huge thanks for pointing this out. I almost feel bad for unknowingly making fun of it in the column.

I updated the column with an informative edit that quotes you. I hope you don't mind.

It also served as a reminder that I inexplicably forgot about the most **** important part of the music-side of the column. I absolutely love us using another throwback sound, the bee swarm. A throwback sound that I actually knew myself about.

We have A, B, C, D, F. No, it doesn't make sense. Though it's all based on a 100-point scale with the letters representing factors of 7 or 10, depending on the scale.

Okay. I can go to sleep calmly knowing that Stephenson deserved the F I gave him (instead of a E+ or smth).

Spencer from QueenCityHoops used some of your videos in his season report card for Kemba (fully credited to you). Glad to see you getting your name out there.
