Compression sleeve to improve blood circulation. The pad on the elbow is for protection in case of a fall.

It looks like something that would throw off my shot if i was wearing it. Seen a lot of players wearing them though.

I think he was referring to the black string like material on his shoulder, rather than the elbow.

It's kinesiology tape. It's kinda like acupuncture.

Expect a dog fight. TOR HC and Hayes called out the team has not playing tough enough. aka soft.

Expect major trolling by Hansbough and Lowry. I expect Val to hard foul someone.

There are going to be Ts in this game. Hans will troll Nene for a Butler head butt. Beal might get into a Hinrich tangle. They are going to take some cheap shots. Player are going to get tangled up. Its going to get ugly.

We might have to break out the Blair Bear.

Here is what happen last year Game 3

Technical Fouls: PLAYERS: 1 CHICAGO ( Butler 1 ), 2 WASHINGTON ( Nenê 2 )

I can't speak for other Wiz fans, but the two main problems I've always had with Wittman were 1) his poor track record of player development and 2) stagnant offensive sets.

However two things have happened. One is that Wittman at last has started playing Otto Porter consistently, and lo and behold he is developing.. what a brilliant idea, when you draft a player at 3rd overall you should probably give him consistent minutes. Porter is a very solid 21yo 3+D prospect who basically produces like a starter when given pt, it's quite obvious that he should be the starter next season and Pierce can either retire or step back into a smaller role.

Secondly the team is running out small ball lineups that they never used in the regular season. To no one's surprise our offense looks much much better with a spread floor, our guards have more room to drive and make plays, bigs have more space to roll. Most of us have been saying this all season, even going back to last season many had wanted Ariza to get more minutes at the 4. I suspect that if we had been using these lineups all season instead of the clogged Nene/Gortat 1990s offense, we could have finished with more than just 46 wins in a weak conf. Reportedly the coaching staff didn't want to wear Pierce out by having him play the 4 in the regular season, but still would have at least liked to see them try it more often.

Guys like Pierce or Gooden obviously aren't longterm solutions.. hence if this is how our offense looks with a spread floor, that means we need to look at a young stretch 4 prospect in the draft (Bobby Portis is my guy but if he's gone at #19 there are other options like Lyles from Kentucky). Wittman isn't the coach of the future but he has one guaranteed year left on his deal. If he continues to show a commitment to developing Porter and whoever we draft this year, plus utilizing more small ball lineups, I am personally okay with letting him coach out the contract. It's no secret that Washington plans to pursue a certain 6'11 free agent the following summer, at that time part of their pitch would be that he's free to handpick his own coach.

Time to increase the pressure of that foot we have on their throat plus the Team owes us
some home court wins after last season's one win at home in 2 series effort.

Rooting for win , still hoping to fire Randy. He doesn't fool me cause we won 2 games vs Raptors who became as soft as charmins... Sorry but it's true. They are soft, mentally not prepared with lack of effort and have also "decent" HC.
We definatelly win game 3 but can lose game 4.

Wall Ses
Beal
Pierce Porter
Nene Hump
Gortat
These are our 8 best players. Please Witt no more Gooden, Hump has proven to be the best big off the bench. Lets get plenty of Pierce at PF with Otto at SF, especially to end the game. Seraphin should only play if there is foul trouble at center and only get 8 minutes at most.

actually the way it usually goes is that if you get to 3-0, you more often than not sweep.
So if we win tonight, I expect a refund on the game 6 tickets I have. If we lose tonight,
all bets are off.

I think it's the other way around. Game 3 is Toronto's last, desperate hope. They're going to go balls out to win this one.

If we win Game 3, Toronto is going to roll over and quit for Game 4.

Hump has unquestionably been a better player than Gooden for most of the season, but I don't think Hump is quite right physically. He hasn't looked the same since coming back from his injury. It may just be a rhythm thing. Whatever the case, I'm not so sure that the Hump of right now is better than Gooden. I think it's close enough that I'll defer to Randy on the decision since he sees them every day in practice.

We shouldn't play Seraphin though.

just curious who all is going tonight? I was successful selling the extras I bought up in 215 so I'll be
in my usual seat in 104 row r. Still got a couple extras for sale for Sunday in section 102.

I'll be there tonight in section 214 with tickets I bought from the Wizards organization a couple of weeks ago. I just went on StubHub last night and bought tickets for Sunday in section 113. I wish I had known you have tickets for sale in section 102. what's the price? i might have a friend who is interested.

Or maybe you just go ahead and give Porter consistent minutes throughout the season...and expect and live with some inconsistent play since he's essentially a rookie. :)
