PG: Lowry is garbage

I just think the Wizards ended up being a bad matchup for the Raptors, despite our regular season record against them. They have length and height at every position to disrupt our guys, and take away what they do best.

And honestly, Louis, DeMar, and Kyle all rely on the whistle too much imo. In the regular season, they got those calls. In postseason play, the refs aren't giving them those calls, which results in missed shot attempts instead of trips to the free throw line.

What if Masai Ujiri gets rid of everyone except for DeRozan, JJ, Bruno and picks up DMC ? Gets a better coach and better **** point guard

That's smart defence homie. And DeMar clearly got frustrated by Porter's D, after one instance where Porter blocked DeMar behind, and DeRozan shoved him, getting a T as a result.

Also, Otto was denying DeMar on a lot of plays. DeMar didn't even touch the ball.

Thats what happens when the defense zones in on only guy out there doing anything. The rest of the team needs to step up with all the attention mainly focused on DeMar. You can't win a playoff game when only one guy shows up to play.

Lowry is obviously playing hurt..but more apparent, he hasn't gotten his game back since coming back from his back injury... He only returned a few games before the season ended.

It's difficult to get everything back, ..playing shape, shot,...right away. Obviously he wasn't quite ready for the playoffs.

this is all on **** lowry - every last bit of it.

32 points on 29 shots on 37.9% shooting. To put a bit of perspective on that, Harden had 42 points on 24 shots on 62.5% shooting.

But yes, Lowry was a big issue today. Lou and Vasquez also didn't help.

And sorry but this is not Lowry's fault, he should not be traded, Casey is a bad coach. Stop letting him jack **** shots. Be a coach get him to get others involved. There is no reason when you are 1-10 that your coach should say yea keep shooting fall away jumpers.....

And Val, he is getting absolutely worked by Washington bigs. Yeah he had 10 rebounds but that doesn't excuse anything. Credit to DD for still having some intensity. First quarter was amazing to watch, I understand the struggle after the substitution of Otto but I can't say it was a superb overall performance by DD as he totally shut down the 2nd & most of the 3rd quarter.

We get the injuries part, but what we dont get is why he's also making decisions. Good-great players get injured or whatever, but they still make good decisions on the court and still a positive on the team. There is NOTHING positive about Lowry. Literally over night he has turned into a bad basketball player.

James Dolan didn't want him.

Houston let him go.

Memphis let him go.

i think we are seeing why. it would seem he had all of us fooled and got his monayy :banghead:

are you okay in the head? lowry is not a robot who is programmed to do what casey says..he is a free man given free will and he chose to take contested shots.. casey is not the problem..get the **** players out of this city..thats the issue..casey should be resigned and run that trapping defence with good defenders.

Lowry just isn't quite in playing shape after returning from injury...and the long layoff hurt his shot.
Facing the fastest guy in the league in Wall certainly doesn't help...
