WT: Bulls Fire Thibodeau

I'd get rid of Scott and go balls to the wall to get Thibs

"But for you
Ooh, you
Ooh, coach Thibodeau

Ooh, for you
Ooh, you
Ooh, I'd leave it all"

will he play Kobe for +40 mpg ?

Luol Deng looks very tired now with Miami Heat..

I don't see this happening. For the Lakers organization to throw Byron under the bus and hire Thips, so much butthurt and ruining the Lakers image and history. I don't see Byron Scott on the hot seat for another season or two.

Actually, if the Bulls replace the entire coaching staff, Byron may be able to add one of thibs's assistants.

straight up do it

byron was here to do one job, keep that pick

thibs is for ring chasing, a big name signing like him might even entice a marquee name or two to jump ship to us

**** Byron. Kick rocks or be thibs assistant. They are so far apart. One guy designed a defense that wins a title and made s perennial playoff team despite injuries. The other is the second losing eat coach all time among those who've coached 1000 games.

Cya Scott.

They took 3 interviews to hire the guy and to top it off they wouldn't have gave him a job with signing melo or Bron which is why they didn't want him doing any recruiting

Lol the guy will be courted by every team with an opening, there's no reason for him to choose a team in the middle of a rebuild.

^^^ toss the bulls that late first from Houston and 34 for him. No team can reasonably beat that, and it takes OKC out the running

I'm pretty sure the dude still needs to want to come here for that to work.

Well he can not want to be in Chicago anymore but they don't have to let him go. They can tell him its this team or stay here to your deal runs out and taking a pile of **** we give you. I'd explore it if I'm la, call up and offer those late picks and see what can get done

We're not replacing Byron.

This is why fans were idiotic to chase MDA out of town. Last year's coaching pool was weak as ****.

Donovan's eligible to return to the NBA, Ettore Messina is on the prowl, and and Thibs is an early exit away....

Firing Brown inexplicably early, as right as it seemed at the time, has put us in a corner. No way we do this to the dude who is representing us at the lottery. Face it. We're fans of a team run as a family business. Just not going to happen.

That Mike Brown hire was IMO the worst move we made in the last decade. That's on the brass.

Yeah, no. Scott is in cahoots with the FO, if D'Antoni was here we'd have literally nothing to show for this year except some dumb extensions to someone on the current roster.

they are market rich. it is a business and because of the market they can offer more money. remember the first time they signed Phil? they gave him about 6 mil more than any coach was making. that was shocking then even though in today's market 10 mill a season seems not too outrageous.

Thibs is the antithesis of what most NBA coaches are now. We're in an era where everything is micro managed especially minutes, and Thibs is old school ( which I don't mind) and goes full bore with players. But it's no chance in hell we get rid of Scott for him, plus it's not like he's all that........what have the Bulls won ? No Finals, no ECF wins, they've basically been just a glorified 2nd to 3rd round team.

People gotta stop flaming on Scott as if he's done nothing, the man took a team to back to back Finals when we all damn well know that team had no business in the Finals.
