This situation reminds me of the Alan Anderson situation way too much. Casey came in and overplayed Alan Anderson when the Raptors were supposed to be developing their young players. Anderson found himself a nice contract. Lou seems pretty satisfied since Casey just helped him get himself a nice new contract too.

I hope this guy never plays for this team again, unless they bring in a coach who can reign him in.

Yup I was laughing like crazy when I was watching it..makes me think something larger is going on in the locker-room that we are not aware of...this is just too weird/classless..I think Casey is emotionally hurt for whatever reason.

I have never been more of a Lebron James fan then right now. He needs to beat the Bulls and beat Pierce in these playoffs in order for us to get Thibodeau and beating PIerce just to deny him once again.

well guess what - you've got a young roster. develop them. the raptors are not at a stage where they should go all out and sign vet players for a championship run. not even close.

the team is at a stage where they first need to demonstrate internal development and progress. they failed to do that. and much of that has to do with the coach's decision to desperate scratch and claw at winning every regular season game possible by riding his vets and neglecting development of his younger players (JV especially). they paid for that in the playoffs, where they could have used a confident JV out there.

It's funny how he doesn't play his young players, or teach them anything, yet somehow still manages to blame them for everything too.
