Re: Off Topic VII
Maybe the first show could just be LP sitting at a table reading tweets he has sent to various celebrities. Or maybe, if we get enough money, we can have the celebs read the tweets that LP has sent to them. Maybe even face to face meetings where LP gets to fight various celebs he has tweeted. I'm still brainstorming the possibilities.

"Pooty Time" would be a high quality name.
Pooty Time is perfect.
The 2nd episode is where we go on the road and LP tracks down Mr Glover and we see if the two of them can make amends or else the show ends in an old fashioned duel (with BB guns - can't take the risk of losing our star).
3rd episode, LP confronts his fear of needles, by becoming a heroin junkie for a week while simultaneously going to Cameron Indoor stadium to see a Duke UNC game.

4th episode. LP auditions for the Fox Sports South play-by-play position, now opened up by Steve Martin. He gets to call a Hornets pre-season game, yet doesn't get the job since he makes passes at Stephanie all game long.

Absolutely.
5th episode, Parsons and LP team up for some high comedy where the two of them go to redneck bars in the NC mountains and try to pick up chicks for a 3-way.

LOL. Now that one was hilarious.

I have plenty other life stories. Some will never be mentioned on here though. Little bit too personal and embarrassing.

In the mean time I have to bring in some bacon (pay child support), and got a job at the dollar general store. Holy freaking hell people are rude and obnoxious. Im begging all of you not to be one of "those people" who treat people like trash when they aren't as fortunate as others. Today was my first day, and it was an eye opener for me. Thank God I wont be there long.
I've worked in both food service and retail. I would say rudeness was worse from behind the food counter. In both cases though it felt like whenever some folks would have a bad day they would take it out on anyone "less powerful" than them ... which of course is just about anyone in any service industry. IT can be like that too especially if you have to answer the phones or go to people's desk to fix their problems. Even developers can catch it, but the higher you get up the IT food chain the less you experience it day to day unless you work somewhere really bad.
My sense is that IT is a rough field to be breaking into now. I've worked in it for over 20 years now. The pressure for business to go to some form of hosted solutions is huge now, and many of those companies rely on overseas workers more than local. Networking is pretty safe. Software wise it's kind of odd. Microsoft is in a really precarious position IMHO. They've been huge in most shops for a long time because they tended to train folks and them dump them out into the field ... which mean that most departments had really vocal proponents of MS solutions. But now they are on the cloud bandwagon too and I have a feeling that the number of MS admins and devs employed is going to shrink as they get the big to midsized companies using their data center. Plus MS has sped up their own internal dev & release cycle for new products (at the cost of the stability of their current patching and product support I might add). Those upgrades are hugely expensive to large companies and having to do them more frequently could be a problem for IT budgets. If Apple or one of the various Unix shops could come up with a real challenge MS could be in trouble. I just have a hard time seeing an Apple without Steve Jobs doing that though, and I haven't seen a unix variant that really seems to be ready to step in and deal with all of the oddball custom apps out there today in the MS world.
Anyway, best of luck!
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Is anyone following the Baltimore situation? I assume the threats at the police are coming from Marlo Stanfield.

How did a Budweiser marking exec think this slogan was a good idea?
